7 Kids Crafts: Kylee's Unicorn

Hello Everyone!

I hope you all are having a lovely day. Today's project is for 7 Kids Crafts and I am working with a clear stamp called Picket Fence Studios - Kylee's Unicorn. This is a really cute set to work with. The images are adorable and the sentiments can be used with many other stamps or projects.
I haven't done this in a long time but I colored with pencils on white paper... it's a little scary but doable. heehee When I saw the little girl "Kylee" I immediately thought about the collectible Blythe Dolls which I think are super cute and I wish I could afford a real/custom doll for my"inner-child"self and to put in my craft-room. I have a factory version (still pricey) of the Blythe doll with a long wig but still needs clothes because well I spend my money on stamps, paper and dies. LOL

Picket Fence Studios - Kylee's Unicorn

7 Kids Crafts: I hold you in my heart

Hello Everyone,

Many people don't talk about it- at least I haven't heard much people talk about their experience. I have heard some say it happened to them at some point but that is it. I know that it can be too difficult to share... Sometimes it's a fast process and sometimes it's a long process both physically and emotionally. Everyone deals with their loss in different ways and some always have a feeling of a void. So, this time I'd like to share a card with Miscarriage and Stillbirth in mind. I chose the Miscarriage Awareness colors. pink and blue. This clear stamp set was sent to me by Kelly with the rest of my January Design Team Package goodies and it was the first stamp I knew what I wanted to create right away. This stamp set is called Visible Image clear stamp set, Bloom and Grow. The Distress Oxides I actually purchased from 7kidscrafts.com before I became a DT member and I was very excited to play with them.

Distress Oxides + Water + Sheer Shimmer Spritz
Broken China
Picked Raspberry

Distress Ink:
Broken China
Picked Raspberry

Baby stamped with:
Ranger Archival Ink, Shadow Gray

I stitched two ribbons together to form the Miscarriage Awareness colors.

The sentiment and Bible verse are from my crafty stash...
The stamp is from  JustRite Stamps clear
stamp set called With Sympathy

No Matter what stage
Your baby existed.
Your baby mattered.

LMMS: Happy Birthday Baby Dragon

Hello Everyone,

First I want to mention that Barbara Sproatmeyer  is having a huge sale, just about everything in the store is 60% off- lots of rubber stamps, clear stamps, some dies and a few other things.

Winter has come! Heehee As soon as I saw this Baby Dragon from Little Miss Muffet Stamps, I wanted to make it look like Drogon hatching out of the "Petrified Dragon Egg." The egg is available smooth, I just drew and colored in some lines to resemble the eggs from Game of Thrones. I also wanted to give the background and old age feel so I used a Distress Ink called "Old Paper."

Baby Dragon

Here's a slightly different angle so you can see the shine
on the foil paper and on the embossed sentiment.

Close-up of Baby Dragon

I colored my image with Copic Markers.

Copics Used:
C1, C3, C4, C5, C7
R21, R22, R27, R46, R89
Y26, Y28

Distress Ink:
Old Paper

Foil Paper:
Craft Smith: Holiday Foil (silver)

The sentiment is from
Kraftin' Kimmie: Kick Assy Birthday

Silver Embossing Powder is from:

7 Kids Crafts: Princess Ilyse

Hello Everyone,

I hope you are having a beautiful day (despite the weather.) Today I'm featuring a digital stamp by Sweet November called Princess Ilyse. Currently this stamp is only available in digital and only at http://www.7kidscrafts.com/

I colored her up with Copic Markers and 1 Spectrum Noir:
E0000, E00, E11, R20, R30, E33
YG63,  Y08, W3
YR23, YR27, E09, E18
Y21, Y23, Y26, Y28
RV63, RV55, RV69
YG17, YG63,  YG67, YG97
B02, B4 (+ Spectrum Noir IB2 for first layer)
R05, YR27

Here's a close-up

I added dots with the Uni-ball Signo Angelic White pen
and the Spectrum noir Sparkle pen to create a sparkling water

Here is one of my red combinations
I was going for that Sansa Stark red hair
because this princess sort of reminds me of her,
well before she married Joffrey "Baratheon" heehee

Instead of using a masking paper
only because this is really not a wet technique
I just used a piece of a printer paper to trace
along her hair and then stamped the Make It Crafty
"Rose Garden" rubber stamp from
Make It Crafty - Rose Garden
I stamped it twice and as you can see I
missed a spot but it's not the main focus
(I let it go and just colored more green in that spot)

Here are most of the markers I used
and right before I discovered that my paper was wonky so I had to
crop the image down a bit.

The background is a rubber stamp from
Make It Crafty called

I printed the Princess Ilyse digital stamp first.
I made sure to not have her exactly in the center
so I could have space for the sentiment.
I also wanted to place Princess Ilyse so she
could direct her gaze towards sentiment.

I really loved this sentiment:
"Take time to do what makes your soul happy...
You deserve it!"
Those are actually two stamps from

for the water I used a Uni-ball Signo White Angelic pen
and then I used a Spectrum Noir Glitter Pen

Don't forget that January's Vendor at
7 Kids Crafts are the Santoro Gorjuss Girl stamps
Kelly carries the larger sets as well as the mini sets.

7 Kids Crafts: Hello Gorjuss

Hello Crafty Friends,

This is my first time making a card with a Santoro Gorjuss girl stamp that Kelly sent me to work with, it's called Santoro - Gorjuss Girls Stamp - Summer Days. Actually, this month, Kelly at http://www.7kidscrafts.com/ is having a sale with the Docrafts Santoro Gorjuss Girls. It took me a little while to work on this image but it came alright in the end. I also tried out a new technique that I learned from Amy Young's at athousandsheetsofpaper.blogspot.com. The technique was the very first Walk Thru Wednesday theme on the 7 Kids Crafts Newsletter. This die overlay or "Eclipse Technique" is a pretty neat way to use words especially when you want to say a message but don't want the word to overshadow the image which is the focal point. I really loved trying that technique out and I think any person that loves handmade cards will especially appreciate.

On to my Gorjuss - Summer Days

I colored her up with Copic markers which Kelly has at the 7 Kids Crafts store
and one Spectrum Noir marker on Spectrum Noir Paper.

Ink to Stamp the image:
Memento Tuxedo Black

Copic colors used:
E000, E00, E11, R20, R30, R33
RV02, RV04, RV09
V06, V09, V12
Y15, Y23, Y26
Y14
Y32, R26, Y28
T0, T1
Spectrum Noir:
TN2

The embossing enamel on the sand is from Stampendous! Aged Ivory
The Hello die is from The Greeting Farm
and the rectangle die is from My Creative Time
The A Happy Hello stamp on the envelope is from
Gina K. Designs.

Here is some of the process photos I did to create this card.

Here I was trying to figure out a sentiment
and position, finally I picked a "hello" from The Greeting Farm

After cutting  down the card layer with the large
rectangle die, I then cut the hello word die.
Make sure to save all of your little negative space
or colored bits, you'll need them later.
(See photo below)

I cut the "hello" die several times with white cardstock (all not shown)
then glued one down along with the little colored bits.

Copic colors used:
E21, E11, E13, R22, R30
E11, E84, W3

Hello Crafty Friends,

Happy New Year! I hope you all had a wonderful holiday break and a fabulous new year. I'm excited to tell you that Kelly form https://www.7kidscrafts.com/ had a design team call so I decided to give it a go. I was shocked that I was one of the chosen designers because I felt there was a tough competition, many talented crafters applied besides myself. Before Christmas I was messaged to see if I was still interested, of course I said yes and soon after I received a parcel with some DT goodness. All of the items I received here in the YouTube video 7 Kids Crafts DT Package are all available at https://www.7kidscrafts.com/.

Here is the card I created with digital stamp
Sweet November Digital Stamp: Winter Fairytale - Nora Northlight
and a clear stamp sentiment from
Witt and Sass Stamp Company Clear Stamp - You Are Beautiful set
both can be found at: https://www.7kidscrafts.com/

Here are the Polychromos (and a couple of Prismacolor) color pencils I used:

Skin: Ivory, Burnt Sienna, Caput Mortuum and Medium Flesh

then White, Ivory and Walnut Brown for fur

Sky and Water: Sky Blue. I added Spectrum Noir Sparkle to the water.

The large rectangle die to cut the top layer and small dies to make the sign post for the sentiments are from My Creative Time tiny tags and the fence that I cut to use one portion of it is from La La Land Crafts. I used a little bit of Gathered Twigs distress ink on the sign post.
