Splish Splashy Day

Hi Everyone!

Today I will be sharing a card I made with Treena Twinkles from Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps. I've been hoarding this stamp for a while and I can't believe I hadn't colored it yet. I had so much coloring this stamp and I even go to color her in one day! I didn't know what color I wanted her hair tail... I decided to color her sort of like Ariel, The Little Mermaid but then I realized I colored her eyes brown so I colored her tail in a two-tone color -just having fun with it. I drew/colored in some crashing waves in the back, sat on a rock and some water in the front. I wanted to keep it simple by not adding any embellishments or fancy papers. I hope you like the card.

I used Prismacolor pencils and a Uni-ball Signo white gel pen
Also I used Gathered Twigs for the Distressing of the Kraft paper

Here's a close-up

Hello Sunshine

Hello Crafty Friends!

Today I finally created a card using Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps I used a retired gray rubber stamp called "Sunnie" and clear stamp At the Beach.I had so much fun coloring this image that I colored one with Prismacolor pencils and had to color it again with Copic markers - This one is the one colored with Copic makers. The beach scene I was experimenting with Dr. Martin's Hydrus watercolors and unfortunately didn't use water color paper so it buckled but in the end it turned out okay.  I also really love the Doodlebug Design paper called "fun in the sun." The dies are from Magnolia Doohickey dies Spring Flower Lace that my talented friend Emily Shroom ordered for me for a past birthday - Thank you so much Emily It was perfect for this card.
Here is Emily's blog so you can see her awesome cards: http://emilyshroom.blogspot.com/

I was inspired to make this card  because we found a beach not too far from our home (like 6 minutes) and for days it's all I could think about so I took the kids and spent several hours there twice and then finally dragged the hubby to come with us one day. LOL So, here's my card I hope you like it.

Thank you so much for visiting.

I try to believe in impossible things

Hello Everyone,

Today I finished a card using Angie from Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps
by the artist named Annie Rodrigue she is definitely one
of my favorite artist from Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps.
I used Premier Prismacolor Pencils on Kraft colored paper
The paper is Craft Smith "Tea Party" that I got from Michaels.
I used a little Distress Ink "Antique Linen" to color around the edges of the
Kraft Paper.

I had colored just the face a while ago and put it away for weeks I think...
too much stuff going on and I don't get to sit by myself without the kids jumping all over me to color but today I finished the coloring and I paper pieced the robe with that Craft Smith "Tea Party" paper. woohoo!!!

Here is the full card

Here is a close-up so you can see the Pencil Coloring
Also the paper piecing of the robe and I also stamped the hand
and coffee mug on another piece of Kraft Paper to layer it on
top of the design paper and it also give it dimension.

Thank you for visiting.

I hope you liked my card.
