Christmas is on its way

Good morning everyone!

I have another Christmas card for you today. The rubber stamp is from The Greeting Farm and it's called Holiday Anya (it's from last year's collection but who cares). I kept telling myself I'm not going to buy too many more stamps this year and was just going to collect a select few like the ones from the Cheeky Cherry line but this one was way too cute to pass up.

Holiday Anya rubber stamp from TGF
I colored the entire image with Copic markers.
The die cuts are from Spellbinders.
The designer cardstock paper is from
Anna Griffin: Holiday Traditions
The red self-stick gems are from Darice: Primary set
Here's the inside.

I used this Sweet Sunday Sketch as an inspiration for my card.

Well ladies and gents I hope you like the card and hope you enjoyed your visit.

Thank you for stopping by.

Christmas card swap hosted by Cricut Crafts

Hi Everyone!

I'm back for a little while.... Just wanted to show the cards I made for a Christmas Card Swap I joined. It was a small group which was good for me because of family life adjustments here and there (new baby) but I really wanted to join something this year. It ended up being 6 of us total so I only had to make 5 cards but I made an extra card which I will mail out to a Hello Kitty fan/bloggy friend lol. Anyway, here are my Hello Kitty snow globe cards:

I hadn't really used my Cricut in a long time and on top of that I hadn't
used my Hello Kitty cartridge in a really long time.
 The cards measure 5x7.
Carts I used are: Hello Kitty Greetings, Create a Critter and Joys of the Season.
I used Stikles for the falling snow holes.
The snowflakes are from Martha Stewart's Aspen Snowflake around the page punch set .
The Hello Kitty rubber stamp on the envelope is from Target.
The "Merry Christmas" sentiment is from My Creative Time.
The Buttons on Hello Kitty's coat are from Viva Decor Pearl Pens
Here is a close up of the card. I mailed all of these in
cellophane envelopes so that my recipients were able to use
blank envelopes... I mailed them all out on the 1st of December
I hope all of the ladies have received them. I'm still waiting for one card.
The ladies are: Lourdes (swap host), Luz, Jessie, Gloria, Gina and myself (Katya)
You can request to join the facebook group at:
There are a lot of talented ladies there.
Some even have YouTube videos with tutorials.
I love the cards I received. I hope I wasn't too bad for my first swap
and hope they liked the cards I made for them.
Can you believe my daughter Jade got to do a card swap before me? LOL
I'd like to finish stating this was a fun experience for me
especially checking my mailbox with my daughter Jade and opening the cards together.

Thanks for stopping by.

Hello I'm back but nothing crafty- this time

Hi Everybody!

Haven't had time to sit too much and craft... been a "little" busy with family life :) Some of you may know others  may not... but I just had a little baby girl :)

My baby girl was born November 20th at 7:33AM. I named her Daenerys Arielle Bess, she weighed 7 lbs 13oz and measured 21 inches long (in no time she'll catch up to me I'm super short my hubby is the tall one LOL.)

This is me at 38 weeks (6 days before the big day)
2 days before the big day trying to stay awake (uber tired)

Day 2, hubby brought our oldest to visit.

4 days old she looks like such a big girl. // Then 2 weeks smiling at me (awww)

All of my kids last week sometime :)
Daenerys today at 3 weeks old.

Will be back soon to post some things I tried to work on and wasn't able to finish but little by little I got something done.

Thanks for stopping by. Have a great day.
