7 Kids Crafts: Go For It!

Happy Sunday Everyone!

This month Kelly is also having a 20% off sale for most The Greeting Farm stamps and lots of Mixed Media, check out the vendor of the month sale here: http://www.7kidscrafts.com/vendor-of-the-month-sale/ make sure to use code: TGF

I had lots of fun merging the different images to create this scene at the gym. All of us who love or maybe not so much love but need to go to the gym could benefit from having a gym buddy to give us that extra push or inspiration.  I'm usually looking like the little gal in the back of the gym unless it's Zumba then I would probably be more like the girl in the front. heehee I like to use a planner and every now and then I use these cute little planner stamps to decorate but I don't spend time coloring them. I do however, love to use these small and cute The Greeting Farm : Tiny Plans to add characters to the background. If you purchased The Greeting Farm: Go For It Anya! stamp set from 7 Kids Crafts then you would have received the Sweet November digital: background builder- workout room  for free until Kelly ran out of the clear stamp set. The background is now available for so sale, just click the link here

For this card I used:

I colored everything with Copic markers. First I printed the
Sweet November- Workout Roomcolored it then stamped the TGF stamps separately. After fussy cutting the TGF stamps I carefully glued them on the workout background.

I hope you liked my workout card.

Twinkle, Twinkle, little bat

Hello Everyone,

This digi stamp is called Alicia Bel: Pretty Ritty. I was inspired by the Alice in Wonderland, Dormouse so I colored her up in the way the cartoon Disney movie portrays him.  I hand wrote the little song he sings:

"Twinkle, twinkle, little bat.
How I wonder what you're at,
Up above the world you fly,
Like a a teatray in the sky."

I used Copic markers to color her up
and Distress Oxides for the background.

Most of the Copic makers used:
R21, R30
R30, E04, E23, E27, E29
W1, W00, YG03, YG17, YG67

7 Kids Crafts: Baby Bunny Butterfly

Hello Everyone!

I hope you're liking this Baby Bunny line from Sweet November Stamps.  You can find them here:
7 Kids Crafts: Sweet November Stamps for a limited time. This is my third stamp of the Baby Bunnies and this one is called: Sweet November: Baby Bunny ButterflyI've had lots of fun creating scenes that all tied together in some way. They all have furry bunny suits, all have light puffy clouds with Colorbox Frost White and Broken China (Distress Oxide) as the background sky and they all have dandelions covering the grass (cause you know there's no weed killer -that poisons and kills all of the pollinators and we don't want that.) Speaking of weeds I drew in some dandelions and some milkweed, which is the perfect host plant for the butterfly I'm pretending is a Monarch butterfly by the colors I chose. The sentiment is from a rubber stamp I found in my stash that I had forgotten I purchased- it's from Impression Obsession: #C14072 I know it's not an Easter sentiment but I thought it was perfect because this Baby Bunny seems to be flapping his arms like wings, as if he's trying to fly like the butterfly.

Polychromos + 1 Prismacolor I used:
Ivory, Burnt Sienna, Dark Flesh, White, Light Flesh + (Beige = Prismacolor)
Ultramarine, Light Ultramarine, Indanthrene Blue, Warm Grey IV,Warm Grey III, White
Permanent Green, Hooker's Green, Emerald Green
Dark Naples Ochre, Cadmium Orange, Dark Cadmium Orange, Cadmium Yellow, Black
Light Magenta, Crimson + Sakura Gelly Roll (XPGB-M #520) for milkweed flowers
Cadmium Yellow for the dandelions

Distress Oxides:
Pine Needles, Broken China

Colorbox:
Frost White (I used it lightly for clouds)
Versafine:
Onyx Black (to stamp the sentiment)

Don't forget, there are 3 total Sweet November "Vault Images" this month:

All of the stamps mentioned above are only found at 7 Kids Crafts: Sweet November Stamps  If you follow the 7 Kids Customers Create! you will be able to grab a fourth Baby Bunny called Baby Bunny Daffodil for FREE but these are all available until 3/22/2019 and they will go back in the vault.

7 Kids Crafts: Baby Bunny Egg

Hello Everyone!

I hope you have been having fun creating with these cute bunnies from the Baby Bunny line.
There are 3 total Sweet November "Vault Images" this month:

Sweet November: Baby Bunny
Sweet November: Baby Bunny Butterfly
Sweet November: Baby Bunny Egg

All of the stamps mentioned above are only found at 7 Kids Crafts: Sweet November Stamps  If you follow the 7 Kids Customers Create! you will be able to grab a fourth Baby Bunny called Baby Bunny Daffodil for FREE but these are all available until 3/22/2019 and they will go back in the vault.

I colored up this cutie with Polychromos pencils
and the sky was done with
Distress Oxide Broken China + Colorbox Frost White
The eggs are from an older
Stamp Anniething Easter set called: For Peeps Sake and the
sentiment is from Paper Smooches called: I Heart Art.

I had lots of fun creating a little egg painting scene with Baby Bunny Egg
Since this baby was painting an egg I figured it would be nice if it also
had more eggs and little paint cups around.

Since it's Vault Week with

On to my card... I used Mermaid Kisses from the The Greeting Farm once again but this time I used Copic markers and Distress Oxides instead.

First I used Distress Oxides:
Broken China and Brushed Corduroy
for my background. I then used a watercolor
brush to draw sun rays peeking through the water.
I also tried to draw water movement by making fine lines
in random areas and on the ocean floor as well.
I stamped the mermaids on the background
but I also stamped them on a separate alcohol
marker paper so I won't contaminate my
markers with the Distress oxides.

Also, don't forget that there are 3 total Sweet November
"Vault Images" this month but only until 3/22:
and if you join the

7 Kids Crafts: Mermaid Kisses in watercolor

Hello Everyone!

For today's card I decided to work with watercolors. Some of my favorite watercolors to work with are Dr. Ph. Martin's Hydrus - I love to use these because they come in these small glass bottles with droppers and they are already liquified.

I tried to keep a small color palette to tie everything together.
Dr. Ph. Matin's Hydrus colors used are:
Phthalo Blue, Hansa Yellow Light, Quinacridone, Phthalo Green and Venetian Brown

Normally I set my water color to the side and work on something else
but this time I had my heat gun ready so I can lay down the next color/s.
I wanted to created like a mermaid lagoon and a waterfall in the background.

To define their cute faces, I went to trace over the faint stamped lines with a color
that matched or was somewhat darker than the watercolor paint.

I hope you liked my watercolored card using these cute little mermaids.

Also, don't forget that there are 3 total Sweet November
"Vault Images" this month but only until 3/22:
and if you join the
7 KIDS Customers Create! Facebook Page
you can find a 4th Baby Bunny for free!!!

7 Kids Crafts: Some Bunny to Love

Hello Crafty Friends!

I hope you are doing well. Today at 7 Kids Crafts there is a super cute Vault Release with Sweet November stamps. For today's card I used Sweet November: Baby Bunny I had a joyous time coloring this adorable little image. I wanted to bring out my Polychromos pencils because I haven't used them in a while I get a little rusty when I take really long breaks. I also used Distress Oxide and Distress Inks. The sentiment stamp is from a retired Clear Stamp set from Some Odd Girl called "Bunny Girl Gwen"

There are 3 total Sweet November "Vault Images" this month:
Sweet November: Baby Bunny
Sweet November: Baby Bunny Butterfly
Sweet November: Baby Bunny Egg

When I sized the digital stamps I wanted to use,
I made sure to save my document file so I can print
it again in the same size with both the paper I planned
on using to color as well as on printer paper
to use as a basic mask. I also had washi tape to help hold it
down in place.

After, I inked up the background...
I know it's not covered completely but I wasn't
going for full covered this time. After that I started
coloring the skin, bunny and the bunny suit.

Here you can see some of the close-up details.

Polychromos used:
Ivory, Burnt Sienna, Light Flesh, Medium Flesh
Black, Cold Grey III, White
Light Flesh, Medium Flesh, Caput Mortuum
White, 20% Cool Grey (Prismacolor), Cinnamon
Permanent Green, Hooker's Green, Burnt Umber, Cadmium Yellow, White and Cadmium Orange

Distress Inks:
Walnut Stain, Mowed Lawn

Distress Oxide:
Broken China

Colorbox:
Frost White

7 Kids Crafts: Marigold

Hello Crafty Friends,

I hope you are having a wonderful day. I want to share this card that was inspired by the scenes Amy Young shows us in her videos live videos. You can find the videos here: 7 Kids Crafts videos. I love watching Amy's videos as well as the other ones from 7 Kids DT members. If I miss the live videos I always try to watch while I catch up on DT projects or DT commenting and I even like to watch when I wash dishes- makes the job not so boring.

I have a limited Copic palette so I substitute with other colors and I even use Distress Inks to blend out my larger areas such as the grass and sky to make them little smoother.  I also chose to use Distress Ink Gathered Twigs to distress the edges to give it a aged photo look and because I felt the background became brighter than the the focal image which is supposed to be Sweet November digital Stamp - Marigold. The sentiment I added is actually a quote from The Lord of the Rings, when Galadriel was talking to Frodo. The quote goes like this: "Even the smallest person can change the course of the future. I felt this quote was perfect to add to finish a card with one or several of the members from the Sweet November digital stamps - Brownies family especially because it's an encouraging thing to say.

To maker my card I used both Copic markers and Distress Inks.

Copic markers used:
Skin: E00, E21, E11, R20, R30
hair: Y32, YR27, YR32, E99
skirt: BG45, BG49, BG18
blouse: E40, W00
vest: E17, E19, E27
apron + scarf: Y35, Y38, YR04, YR23
Stones: E70, E71
Grass: YG05, YG17, (+Distress Ink Mowed Lawn and Gathered Twigs)
grass patches and trees: YG67
mountains: YG17, E70, E71
sky: B01 (+ Distress Ink Salty Ocean and Gathered Twigs)

Thank you so much for stopping by.

Steampunk Love Letters

Hello Crafty Friends,

For this card I used a digital stamp called  Love Letters from https://www.aliciabel.com/ I thought about a Steampunk theme when coloring her up. I also used some steampunk gears from Chocolate Baroque rubber stamp set called "Steampunk Butterfly." 7 Kids Crafts: Everyday is a Sweet Treat

Hello Crafty Friends,

This month at 7KidsCrafts.com the special offer is The Greeting Farm stamp as as well as Mixed Media. To get 20% off both The Greeting Farm and Mixed Media use code TFG

For this card I tried a little masking, which I haven't done in a long time. First I stamped the little cute girl sitting on some macaroons with Memento Desert Sand Ink Pad, the stamp is called: The Greeting Farm - It's Your Birthday then I lightly drew in a pastry stand. After stamping and masking several macaroons and then traced my own drawing with a Memento Dual Marker in Desert Sand. When I was done with all of the stamping I masked everything once again including the pastry stand that I drew. Now that everything has been masked I was able to have a play with a few colors for the background. I had so much fun using the Distress Oxides for the background because although I'm not all that great at blending there are no harsh lines with this medium. Awesome right?! Another reason Distress Oxides are so awesome is that I was able to get a little brush and painted the little hearts and dots with just plain water. Down below you will see some photos so you can see what I'm talking about. :D

The sentiment is from another The Greeting Farm set called
Anya Treats that I've had for several years.

After all of the masking, distress coloring,
and water painting the hearts and dots, I was able to color in with Copic markers.

Copic Markers used:
E000, E01, R20, E21, E11
W7, E79, E29
RV23, RV25
Y15
RV04, RV34 / G12, G14 / Y15, Y21 /E23, E37

Distress Oxides used:
Picked Raspberry, Wilted Violet, Peacock Feathers

I hope you liked my card
and I hope you give a masking a try too!

Don't forget to join in on the fun at:
