December Theme Week Day#6 Happy New Year

It's theme week over at Stamp AnnieThing
This week's theme is all about GLITTER!

We would love for you to participate with us in our THEME WEEK and it's quite easy to do so!  Simply create a project using ANY Stamp Anniething product (as your main focal point) in the set "theme" for this month. Post your project to the corresponding album over at our Face Book Group page (Stamp Anniething Stampers)! You may enter as many projects as you wish, but you will only be counted as ONE entry person.  A minimum of 5 people (not including DT Members) is needed in order for a prize to be given.

*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*
So here we go for December's Theme Week!
Make ANY project that is inspired by GLITTER!

Hi there! Happy New Year!!! It's Katya Bess from Kattyxotica's Kreations. This is my last DT card at Stamp AnnieThing, it's a little sad but happy I had a chance to be here. I will still stalk everyone on Facebook or the blogs as usual... heehee maybe Anne will let me be a Guest DT sometime... Thank you Anne for giving a chance to color up your cute little images and being part of a nice DT. The DT gals are all so talented and always very inspiring.

So, for my inspiration card I used glitter pens.
I colored Anne- Happy New Year separately with
Copic markers and used W3 and W5 to make light
shading on her headband and the blouse because
I wanted it to look silvery/glittery/white so
for that I used the remained of my Wink of Stella
and then went over with my Clear Star Gellyroll.
The Clear Star Gellyroll is my most favorite glitter pen.
For the background I used Distress Ink
and then drew some fireworks and topped that
with my handy dandy Clear Star Gellyroll.
The person I intend to give this card came to visit
for Christmas and went back to Florida
so that is how I imagine New Years to be like...
no jacket and probably a short dress, skirt or shorts. haha

Here is a close-up of my coloring.

Here is another close-up but with the lights dimmed...
it really shows off the glitter but the coloring looks darker
so I wanted to show you both.

I hope you enjoyed the card.
I really hope you have an awesome 2017.
Good luck to the current DT and
and good luck to the new DT.

Thank you for visiting.

`~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~

I used Copic X-pressIt paper with Copic markers

headband and blouse: Y28, Y26, Y23, Y21 and Zig Wink of Stella
for the sparkly stuff on the headband
I used clear wink of stella and Clearstar Sakura Gelly Roll

I chose to make this card very simple and depending on the
person I give it to I'll add another sentiment to the front of the card.

Stamp AnnieThing December Preview Day 2 - Felicity

Hi and welcome to Day #2 of
Stamp Anniething's December release!

We got some really fun new Chibi Kids to share with you today!

Felicity will be available in the store FRIDAY along with the other 2 stamps we show you  this week!!
`~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~
To color up Felicity - Be Healthy I used Copic markers on the
Spectrum Noir Ultra-Smooth
White cardstock! (My fave so far!)

The Copic colors I used are:
W9, W7, W5
B34, E11, E37, E34, R22, R30
B02, B04, B05, B06
YG01, YG05, YG06 and YG09

The die is from My Creative Time
Most of the design papers are from Doodlebug.
The handwriting on the clipboard is my own
and the "be healthy" sentiment comes with Felicity.

I chose these uber bright colors because it's the colors
we use in our Zumba classes or at least a lot of the sporty
gear that a lot of the ladies and some gentlemen wear to class.
After our Zumba class is over there is usually a healthy
snack to chose from a bowl... fruit, raisins, nuts or berries
and there is always water or tea to drink through-out the class.
When I saw this image I thought about how people
choose the New Year to make new resolutions or new goals
but choosing to be healthier doesn't have to start on the 1st of January
or the 2nd for some... you can start now/anytime!
I made this to be a little motivator card.

Here is a close-up
Oh yea! I almost forgot I tried to color this apple like
an Ambrosia apple... I went to the grocery store
and tried these apples for the first time and they were actually
pretty good.... so I hope it looks like an Ambrosia apple but
it kind of looks like she took a bite. haha.

Also, I wanted to share this I found on the internet

We hope you enjoyed our December release!
All the new stamps will be available FRIDAY in the store!
 Have a great day!

Thank you so much for visiting.

Stamp AnnieThing Preview Day 1 - Giselle

Hi and welcome to Day #1 of
Stamp Anniething's December release!
We got some really fun new Chibi Kids to share with you today!

Check out Giselle - Have A Ball

Giselle will be available in the store FRIDAY along with the other 2 stamps we show you  this week!!
`~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~
To color Giselle, I used Copic markers and for the first time I
used the Copic X-PressIt paper.
It was my very first image I colored with it but not
very impressed with the paper... I do like
how smooth it feels and how it easy it was to blend
but that was about it.
So this release will be sort of New Year's theme
but when I saw this image all I could think
about was Mardi Gras masquerades or celebrations,
I chose to to color with Greens, Purples and a little bit of Gold.
When I was done coloring I think I used about 40 Copic colors. Insane!!!

Some of the 6x6 papers were from:
Penny Black called Coco Style.
Some were from Halloween pads from Doodlebug
and some were from I believe Kaiser Kraft.
All of the dies were from My Creative Time.

I wanted to add some sparkle to her dress so I added
some Wink of Stella and I also drew
some sparkle with a Uni-ball Signo White Pen.

We hope you enjoyed our December release!
All the new stamps will be available FRIDAY in the store!
 Have a great day!

Thankful

Hello Everyone!

Hope all is well! Kind of feels like I haven't been blogging much, too many minimum days and days off at school for my kids which is cutting into my coloring and cutting paper time. LOL Normally I try to do my crafting in the middle of the night or very early in the morning but I'm been trying to catch up on other things. So about a week ago I heard Noelle the owner of Quick Creations was having a Guest Designer Call and it's only for one month in the second half of 2017 so I decided to give it a shot. One of the cards I made is for Thanksgiving. The stamp I used I purchased at The Greeting Farm a long time ago but I noticed that it was listed at Cheeky Cherry Pie @ Quick Creations. The paper is from Doodlebug Designs, the roses I bought at Not2ShabbyShop and I just colored them with Copic refills. The small Thank You dies I also got from The Greeting Farm.

Okay here is my  card using Cheeky Cherry Pie.

I didn't mention above that at the end of the night on the 15th I noticed that I did make it as
Guest Designer for the month of December 2017. Woot Woot!!!
I'm very thankful to Noelle for giving me a chance.

I hope you liked my card.

Have a wonderful day.

For Someone Sweet and Deer

Hello Everyone!

I hope all is well. I've been working on some Christmas coloring and decided to share this card I made with Lucille - What a Deer, she is one of my favorite Chibi Kids to color from Stamp AnnieThing. On one of my previous posts I decided to color her as a red head with cute little freckles and this time I'm coloring her as an African-American with sort of medium tone.

I used Copic markers
the colors are
B34, E11, E37, E34, R22, R30
R27, R29, R46
E42, R43, E84, E33
N2, N4, N6 and N8

The papers are from DoodleBug Design: Sugarplums line
the dies are from
My Creative Time
CC Designs
and Craftin Desert Divas

The sentiment is from
and the DEC. 25th I fussy cut from
the DoodleBug Design: Sugarplums 6x6 paper pad.

Here are some close-ups.

I hope you like it.

Thank you so much
for stopping by.

Latte Birthday Wishes

Hello Everyone!

I'm latte! I'm latte! I'm latte for a very important date.... LOL  Today I have a coffee themed birthday card for you... it's a little belated birthday card. I'm thinking I need to make more of these (when I get time) with different skin tones and different hair colors and just have them ready for when I forget a birthday or just cause I'm busy. ha! I found this coffee themed 12x12 paper at Michael's and I had a few coffee cards for friends and teachers in mind but I love how clean and simple this one looks.

I colored her up with Copic markers
some of the colors I used are:
BV000, E55, E53, E51, E50 E21, R21, R20 and R30
for the clothing G07, G46 and G94 also N6, N4 and N2
The dotted circle die is from My Creative Time
as well at the new sentiment.  To make the black outer layer
I just traced around the die and cut with scissors.
the design coffee paper is from Recollections (found at Michaels)
and the base cardstock are from Michael's as well only the black
cardstock is the 110 lb paper I love to use for bases and the
white is 65 lb I like to use for simple layering.

I was going to go for an otter bounds image and circle so I had cut out the face
and the latte/coffee but the head ended fitting inside the circle because
I didn't align it right LOL    so the only thing that is outer bounds is the
latte/coffee but it ends out working out because the person receiving it doesn't
wear skirts or dresses and now it just looks like a trench coat which she does wear
sometimes. LOL

Anyway, I hope you liked my card.

Have a wonderful day.

Stamp AnnieThing Preview Day #3 Lucille

Hi and welcome to Day #3 of
Stamp Anniething's November release!

We got some really fun new Chibi Kids to share with you today!

Lucille is available in the store Today along with the other 2 stamps we show you  this week!!
`~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~
Good morning Crafty Peeps!

Today is is the release day for all of the cuties we showcased this week.
I like them all but one of the ones I love most is the Lucille chibi
she is so adorable with her little curls.
So this is my card:

I colored her up with Copic markers.

Doesn't seem like it but I used a bunch of colors with her.
skin: Bv00, E0000, E000, E21, E50, R20, R30 and R33
for the eye lights I used Copic White
hair: E08, E35, E23, YR27 and Y35
for her clothing: N4, N6, N8, R46, R29, R27 and R24
for the vest hoodie I paper pieced from a
Recollections Christmas 8.5 x11 stack called
Frosty Cabin
found some year or two or three years ago. [gulp]
I really don't need any more Christmas paper
unless it's from Doodlebug Design or Echo Park
those I  use up really fast. LOL
The die is from Craftin Desert Divas.
Oh snap! I could have made the hoodie brown
just like her deer hat. I didn't even think about that 'til
now... Now I have to color up another Lucille. ha!
but that's okay I love her! :P
My mind has been every where ATM with my kids'
school meetings and events, and CCSA meetings,
church choir rehearsals and other functions for the kids. I
love all of that stuff but now we are also house
hunting and that has been taking up most of the time
and it's actually becoming overwhelming or really a little bit
stressful since we don't really know the neighborhood.
On the flip side of that I most likely will have my own
craft room where I can close the door and my things
will be untouched by kids- keeping my fingers crossed for that
and I love my hubby but I hope that I won't have to
share that space with him either.... so he won't have to look
at all the scrappy things I have bought or use my scissors...Seriously!!!
Y'all know how that is. LOL
okay too much of my unorganized, unscripted, unplanned... or just plain crazy
crafting mom life. ha!

Here is a close-up of my colored up Lucille.

I hope you enjoyed our November release!
All the new stamps are available NOW in the store!
Woot Woot!

 Have a great day!

Stamp AnnieThing Preview Day #1 Brooke

Hi and welcome to Day #1 of
Stamp Anniething's November release!

We got some really fun new Chibi Kids to share with you today!

Brooke is available in the store FRIDAY along with the other 2 stamps we show you  this week!!
`~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~

Here is the card I created with Brooke she is looks
so sweet holding her giant candy cane so I had
to use the Christmas paper from Doodlebug Design
that has all of that sweet candy and kept the
card pretty simple.

I colored her with Copic markers.
I used blends of
R39, R29 and R24
G05, G06 and G85
Y08 and Y13
As you can see I kept it very simple but she still pops
against the busy candy background IMO.

Here is a close up of the coloring.
I ended up fixing her eye lights with Copic White after I
photographed it... I might come back to show how it looks
my Uni-ball angelic white is not being my friend lately. LOL

I hope you enjoyed our November release!
All the new stamps are available NOW in the store!
 Have a great day!

Thank you for visiting.

To a very important patient

Good morning Crafty Peeps!

Today I made a 6x6 card using Holly - Cheer Up, she's a super cute little nurse. Actually, you can leave out her nurse hat and just color her as a little girl holding a Teddy Bear but this time I actually stamped and masked the hat so she can be a little nurse. The message "To a V.I.P... Very Important Patient" I just hand-wrote with my Sakura Pigma Sensei black pen.
The Markers I used are Copic.
The Teddy Bear was colored with E50, E51, E35 and E55
The clothing was N4, N2, N0. R46 and R35
All of the background paper is from Recollections
and the paper I used to color is from Crafter's Companion.

Here is a close up of Holly - Cheer Up

I hope you like her.

Thank you for looking.

Wild Wild West

Hi there!

Today I'm sharing a card I made with Savannah - Howdy Partner and a Magnolia background stamp called Golden Creek.

I colored her with Copic markers except for one Spectrum Noir marker (TB1 for the sky)
For the hat, lasso and booths I used E51, E34 and E35
for the scarf R27, R35 and R46
for the jean outfit B91, B93, B95 and B45

I wanted to create a simple card to be used for any occasion so I left the
sentiment out for now.
The die is from My Creative Time
and the background paper is from Kaiser Kraft: Summer Breeze

Here is a close-up of the image.

Thank you for checking out my blog.

Stamp AnnieThing October Release Day 3

Hi and welcome to Day #3 of
Stamp Anniething's October release!

We got some really fun new Chibi Kids to share with you today!

Its Ugly Sweater season coming upon us, Lorraine is ready, are you?

Lorraine is available in the store TODAY along with the other 2 stamps we show  you  this week!!
`~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~
Here is the project I made for today using Lorraine!

I was inspired by Home Alone 2: Lost in New York
You know the hotel gun scene haha I almost know it all by heart. :P
Merry Christmas Ya Filthy Animal
So that is where I got my inspiration the inside reads
"... and a Happy New Year!"
Lorraine looks super sweet just like Macaulay Culkin (when he was a kid) lol
so I made her blonde with baby blue eyes. :)
I colored her up with Copic markers.
Colors used:
BV01, E0000, E000, E01, E21, R21, R20, R30
B91, B45, B93, B95, B97
Y28, Y26, Y23, Y35, E35
R89, R59 and R46
For the sweater I decided to stamp on red cardstock
with a white ink pad to get the white designs and to sort of match
the design on the paper from American Crafts
this line is called Kringle and Co (I think)
I found this paper pad at Marshalls.

I hope you liked my Christmas movie inspired card.

We hope you enjoyed our October peeks so far!
See you tomorrow!

Stamp AnnieThing October Release Day 2

Hi and welcome to Day #2 of
Stamp Anniething's October release!

We got some really fun new Chibi Kids to share with you today!

Diana is a little cold but her oversized sweater sure comes in handy!

Diana will be available in the store Friday along with the other 2 stamps we show  you  this week!!
`~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~
Here is the project I made for today using Diana!
This image is so cute with her slightly oversized sweater
trying to keep her hands toasty.

I used Copic markers for coloring her.
Colors used:
E23, YR27, E35 & Y35
Skin is BV01, E0000, E000, E01, E21, R20 and R30
for her freckles I used E23 (this time)
For her stockings I used C1 and C0
and a little bit of Wink of Stella to give them sparkle dots but it's hard to see
with my lighting.
For the clothes I paper pieced from
Doodlebug Design 6x6 paper pad called Sugarplums.
To give the clothes a little extra dimention
I outlined some areas with C3 copic marker.
One item that made it easier to paper piece was the
Xyron Sticker maker -sometimes I feel like some sticker paper
gets wasted because of the design but it saves me a whole lot of time trying to
glue small areas.
The stitched rectangle and oval dies are from My Creative Time
and the scalloped die is from CC Design. Oh the snowflake dies are from
Die-Versions.

Here she is close up.

We hope you enjoyed our October peeks so far!
