Wintertime is Golden

Hi Everyone!

Today I'm just showing you a card I made to give out for Christmas. She is an image drawn by Elaine Cox I had found at Sweet Pea Stamps... that company is no longer and I may have to look for Elaine Cox's page to see if I can but more of her images. This one is called Moon of Wintertime.

I colored her with Copic markers.
A gold Sakura Gelly Roll for some shimmer, Copic Atyou clear for the snowflakes.
The 6x6 paper is from Craft Smith and it's called Holiday Foil...
I found that at Michael's and I almost put it back- it's fabulous with dies as you can see.
The Poinsettia I made a long time ago with my Cricut.
The layering die is from My Creative Time
The "Merry Christmas" dies are from Paper Smooches
called Christmas Words.

Here here it is from the side so you can see it's a gold foil cardstock

Hope you liked my card.

A Simple Merry Christmas

Hi Everyone!

I know it can get a little hectic around the holiday season but crafting doesn't always have to be.... I made this CAS (Clean and Simple) card for my daughter's principal to wish her a Merry Christmas and to thank her for her excellent work at the school.

The rubber stamp is from The Greeting Farm's
Secret Santa Set.
She's too cute but really all of them are.

I colored her up with Copic markers.
The card layers dies are from My Creative Time.
The white card base heavy cardstock is from Recollections
a Michael's brand.

Since the card is simple I tried to give it a little shimmer
with Wink of Stella Glitter pens on the bow and on the
cuts on the from and inside of the card which read
Merry Christmas.

Thanks for looking.

Baby Blue Winter Wonderland

Hi Everyone!

I hope everyone is enjoying the season whether you're at home or in the work place.
As for me, I'm at home all day with the kids. LOL    It has been cold and raining...
a big big change for us in California. I hadn't posted because all of last week.. well not
every single day but for a nice amount of days our kids had to
rehearse for a play and to sing at our church.

Okay on to my card. It's sort of a re-do using:
Audrina as an ice skater!
Audrina is just flowing with motion on her new skates! She is just skating to say hello
or whatever sweet message you want her to say. :)

for my previous card using Adrian I colored her in brown and gold tones.
Check out that card here:
With this one I used a lot less glitter... actually it was embossing glitter so none of it flakes off.

Okay here is the card... in my Winter Wonderland theme.

I used Copic markers to color her up
Salty Ocean mini Distress Ink for the trees on the back
then I used Whispers Clear Glitter embossing on top of some of the trees.
The hill die is from Avery Elle Elle-ments it's called Dotted Border Die.
The bottom portion I used Copic markers again to give it an frozen ice
for skating then I used Versamark pad to use the Martha Stewart's
Sterling embossing Powder for the sentiment at the bottom.

Here you can see the sparkle from my Sakura Gelly Roll it's a soft blue
and it's from the Stardust collection. You can also see the sterling silver embossing :)

Jaded Blossoms December Guest Designer

Hey Crafty Friends!

I am very excited to be a guest designer. Woohoo!
Thank you Candace and Michelle for giving me a chance.
Now, I have one question for you all:
Have you been naughty or nice?
I have four children but one in particular is a little bit mischievous... his name is Tiberius.
(Yes, I got that name from Star Trek... Captain James Tiberius Kirk. LOL)
Anyway, he's the sweetest little boy when he wants to be but most of the time he's a goofball
and how do I say this... he gets on my nerves especially at the stores or at church. LOL
He would have almost have all "no's" but the elf was grading on the curve this time.
His birthday is coming up this weekend but I wanted to give him a chance
to get his act together before his birthday and before Christmas.

I used
(click on the links to see the stamp sets)
The present card base will be available soon at

I stamped the elf with my Memento Desert Sand stamp pad
for a "no lines" coloring method and used Prismacolor pencils to color him up.
The Elf Report Card is also colored up with Prismacolored but "aged" with
Antique Linen Distress Ink.

Here is a close up of the elf.

Meet Tiberius (Photo by David Meza Zap.Inc)

Look at him sleeping and smiling.

Boom Boom and his yellow glasses... his favorite color.

Thank you for stopping. Don't forget to keep coming by
to check out the other guest designers.
Have a great day.

uniform and glove! Color him in your favorite ball team colors.

I colored James with Copic markers, I used Mambi Sticks (stickers)

just like that and it looks like a baseball card.

*\O/* *\O/* *\O/* *\O/* *\O/* *\O/* *\O/* *\O/* *\O/* *\O/* *\O/* *\O/* *\O/* *\O/*

Here is my completed card. You can call it CAS.
I kept thinking of the cheerleader photos from high school...
not mine of course, I had a choice of going to cheer camp for the summer
and spending about $500 on that or earning some money with my love of
visual arts at the Richmond Art Center. The art center won but I do love
choreographed dancing too so I did that during the school year just not as cheerleader.

Coming back to Copic markers and I even used some
ZIG Wink of Stella pens my angel friend BreAnn, now in heaven gifted me last Christmas.
I used GI. Yellow because it has a golden shimmer and GI. Blue
which were perfect in making my Trudy be
a Golden State Warriors cheerleader.
I have to rep The Bay okay!

Everybody say Warriors!
"Warrrrriors!!!"

The stickers of the hoop and basketball are from Michael's
and sorry I misplaced the packaging.
Stamps will be available in the store Friday!

Thanks for joining us for our December Release
Have a great day!

A Cheerful Christmas with Brooke Panda

Hi Everyone!

Hope you are all enjoying the season even if it's cold and wet... and for those that are enjoying nice warm or hot days I'm so not talking to you. LOL   Juuuuuust kidding... just a little bit jelous :P

I intend to do at least one card a day but I think I'm getting a bit in over my head... yesterday I didn't get to be on my computer too long. When I got back home with the kids we ate, did some homework and I was too sleepy to do anything crafty plus I was freeeezin.'

Okay on to my card- I used:

I used the super cute Doodlebug Design
6x6 paper pad called Sugarplums.
I colored Brooke Panda with my Prismacolor Pencils
sorry guys I didn't keep note of all of my colors this time
because I was working on and off with this one.
I did the "no lines coloring" again
which simply just means that you stamp or print it with a very light color.
This way I was able to color in the iris. Besides adding a nose
the lines weren't changed and are not supposed to.
You can click on this link and you can see
Brooke Panda with regular stamping and with Copics instead of pencils:
Here is a close-up.

I hope you like her. I loved coloring here even thought I had to
stop so many times in between.

On the First Day of Christmas

Hello Everyone!

It's December and Christmas is here! Woot woot! Happy First Day of Christmas! So this post will be short and sweet... if I don't think of random things to ramble on about. LOL

Anyway, I am in dire need of Christmas/Holiday cards and so I'm digging through my stamps... I have a whole bunch but for some reason I get into this weird thing that I have to turn a non-holiday stamp into a holiday stamp. LOL     Anyway, here is my card.

I have turned a super girl into Elsa from Frozen. LOL
I know I had neglected my Prismacolor pencils for a very long time.
So here you go.
Oh and another thing I took notes of my pencils... aren't you proud of me? LOL

skin: PC927, PC943, PC1084, PC928, PC929
eyes: Uni-Ball Signo Pen Broad, Sakura Gelly roll, PC903, PC904 and PC935
Dress: PC992, PC905, PC938 and Clear Star Sakura Stardust pen
Hair: PC941, PC997, PC 914 and PC938
whooo!!! That was too much typing. LOL
The sentiment is from The Greeting Farm.
I couldn't get a good photo of the shimmer in her dress and shoes
but you can see it a little.
Here is a close up.

Oh yea here is the original image.

I hope you like my card.

Thanks for stopping by.
