Noursing Life

Hello Everyone!

Here is my coloring for Day: 4 of of The 30 Day Coloring Challenge over at Kathy Racoosin's page and on IG with hashtag #thedailymarker30day

I used a Dreamerland Crafts stamp. Just an FYI all of the stamps from Dreamerland Crafts are part of o the Vendor of the Month sale at 7 Kids Crafts using code DREAM for a 20% off discount.

I used Memento: Desert Sand ink (Copic safe) to stamp the image. I know I want to
cut it with a circle die so I just traced my circle die before I started coloring.

Copic markers used:
E0000, E00, E11, R11
E23, YR12, E21
E31, E33, E42
R17, E07, E81, Y02,

Hi and welcome to Day #1 of
Stamp Anniething's August release!
Let's do a sort of TIME warp dance with this release!

Rip Roarin' 20's fun Lucille!

Lucille is available in the store TODAY along with the other 2 stamps we showed  you  this week!!
`~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~
Lucille is one of my absolute favorite images to color;
I just love her curls.
I colored her with Copic markers and did the No Lines Coloring Technique.

Here is a close-up of the image and you can see
where I added a little bit of Wink of Stella to add some sparkle to
the waist band and the feather and headband.

I hope you enjoyed our August peeks so far!
 Have a great day!

Thank you for visiting.

*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*

So here we go for July'sTheme Week!
Make ANY project using rainbows (papers, colors,, patterns, etc!)
*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*

Hi! Today I'm popping in to show you my rainbow themed card.
I had a blast coloring this image. I did ask for permission from the owner Annie to alter the bangs and
the clothes.... just an F.Y.I. Keep in mind that the owner has the right to say no.... This time Annie was okay with it and I had so much fun coloring her like Rainbow Brite. Did you gals or guys
have any of Rainbow Brite dolls or toys? The Color Kids or maybe even a Sprite?
I only had a Rainbow Brite and I remember she had yarn hair.... to be honest that is all I remember of of the doll of yeah and she had a purple star on her cheek. I did watch the cartoons in Spanish growing up but and I found some of the English videos on YouTube that I watch with my youngest daughter when trying to soothe her and distract her from her severe Eczema itching.

I used Memento Desert Sand ink dye pad to be able to do the "no-lines-coloring" technique
and to be able to alter the bangs and clothes without any masking but if you look
closely you can sort of see the original lines.
Of course I used Copic markers, Copic multi-liner and a Uni-ball Signo White Broad
(I love Sakura but I wish the white pen was a little more opaque
because I so much prefer how it looks in the end)

For the image I used

Copic makers I used
E0000, E000, E01, E04, E21, R21 and R30
E33, E35, Y35, Y08 and Y26
V06, R24, B24, G05, YR04 and Y08
(sorry forgot the blues in her eyes)
the colors look a little brighter in person the blues in her clothing look a little too dark here.
Here you can see here up close.

Here you can see the shimmer on the stars.
The sentiment I use hand-wrote myself
(I was a bit lazy to see if I even had a color themed stamp. LOL)
and I just colored the rainbow background in carefully
and I only gave it two passes since I was scared they would
bleed into each other. The little stars from some
My Creative Time dies as well as the rectangle to cut out the layer.
4x4 Journal Die + More
Stitched Rectangular Frame Dies & More
The for the stars I chose colors from the rainbow that I colored then I
added Wink of Stella clear and letting them dry before I glued them
on to the card.
I hope you all really liked all of the cards for the theme week,
rainbows are one of my favorite things to see and color.
I also hope that you get a chance to work on some rainbow themed cards

This is how Trudy - Happy Day! looks before the no-lines-coloring technique.

Thank you for stopping by.
Have a colorful day!

`~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~
Here is the project I made for today!

Here Kelsey looks very sweet on top of a toadstool.
I chose to color the toadstool like the ones I see in our front yard.

Markers: Copic
Dies: Fancy Frame Dies I just cropped to fit my image and
I had a different plan in my head for this image but
perhaps another day... I will create a night scene.
I made little sparkles with a white pen
used Sakura Clearstar Jellyroll and some Wink of Stella
for some of the headdress to add a little sparkle
The papers were from Doodlebug Designs
(I NEED more of that paper ASAP... aaaahhh running very low. LOL )

Here is a close-up of the coloring.
I hope you like the image and my coloring too. :P

Danielle is ready for Springtime

Hi and welcome to Day #1 of Stamp Anniething's March release!
Who's done with winter and ready for Spring?  We are!!!
Meet our newest stamp,

Danielle will be available in the store Friday along with the other 2 stamps we will be showing  you  this week!!
`~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~
Here is the project I made for today!

Isn't she so flippin' adorable? :P I had so much fun
coloring Danielle with her little cute polkadot skirt
she looks just like a little ladybug herself. :)
I bought a flower spray from Michael's last year
and I just plucked out some of the flowers and
hot-glued them on. I tried to match the pink of
the skirt and scarf with the flowers.
The papers are from DoodleBug (which I need to buy MORE of.)
hmmm the adorable fence die is from La-La land Crafts
and it's called "Heart Fence."
I took the hearts that popped out of the fence and
created a butterfly with the heart negatives.
the hill is from Avery Elle.
The tiny bushes behind her were a freebie I got
from Our Daily Bread Designs but I think
it's a border die.

Here is a close-up of the adorable Danielle.
I hope you get her ASAP and have
as much as fun as I did coloring her up.

She will be available in the STORE Friday!

Thanks for joining us for our March Release
 and have a great day!

Hello Everyone!
In honor of Black History Month and National Heart Month
I chose to make Savannah - Howdy Partner an African American Cowgirl
and my theme color to be red. I chose the dies and papers patterns to
show she can be a cowgirl and feminine too.

Here is what I created for today!
Savannah - Howdy Partner
I used the Desert Sand ink for a "no-lines coloring" on her hair, skin and lasso with Copic markers:
W5, W7, W9, E13, E15, E17, E33, E35 E18, R21 and R22...
for the clothing I stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black ink
I shaded the red hat and boots with R46 and R35
since the paper is already red
then I fussy cut and paper pieced the clothing.
the edge dies are from Spellbinders
called Borderabilities Card Creator Dies Curved Borders 2
The flower I created with the Spellbinders Mega Dies: Carnation Creations,
Spellbinders Lacy Oval and Spellbinders Classic Oval dies.

Here is a Work-In-Process photo before I colored the hair
When you fussy cut and paper piece
patterned paper it makes you feel like
playing paper dolls like when you were a kid
or play pretend you're a seamstress...
LOL or is that just me? Teehee yea it's probably just me.

Here she is all dressed up for the Rodeo
I really love the little details on this stamp such as the
tiny stitching on her hat, skirt and boots- some real fine tailorin'. ;)

If you don't like to fussy cut like me then you can
chose to have the free SVG outline for Savannah HERE...

Thank you so much for looking.

Jaded Blossoms December Guest Designer

Hey Crafty Friends!

I am very excited to be a guest designer. Woohoo!
Thank you Candace and Michelle for giving me a chance.
Now, I have one question for you all:
Have you been naughty or nice?
I have four children but one in particular is a little bit mischievous... his name is Tiberius.
(Yes, I got that name from Star Trek... Captain James Tiberius Kirk. LOL)
Anyway, he's the sweetest little boy when he wants to be but most of the time he's a goofball
and how do I say this... he gets on my nerves especially at the stores or at church. LOL
He would have almost have all "no's" but the elf was grading on the curve this time.
His birthday is coming up this weekend but I wanted to give him a chance
to get his act together before his birthday and before Christmas.

I used
(click on the links to see the stamp sets)
The present card base will be available soon at

I stamped the elf with my Memento Desert Sand stamp pad
for a "no lines" coloring method and used Prismacolor pencils to color him up.
The Elf Report Card is also colored up with Prismacolored but "aged" with
Antique Linen Distress Ink.

Here is a close up of the elf.

Meet Tiberius (Photo by David Meza Zap.Inc)

Look at him sleeping and smiling.

Boom Boom and his yellow glasses... his favorite color.

Thank you for stopping. Don't forget to keep coming by
to check out the other guest designers.
Have a great day.

On the First Day of Christmas

Hello Everyone!

It's December and Christmas is here! Woot woot! Happy First Day of Christmas! So this post will be short and sweet... if I don't think of random things to ramble on about. LOL

Anyway, I am in dire need of Christmas/Holiday cards and so I'm digging through my stamps... I have a whole bunch but for some reason I get into this weird thing that I have to turn a non-holiday stamp into a holiday stamp. LOL     Anyway, here is my card.

I have turned a super girl into Elsa from Frozen. LOL
I know I had neglected my Prismacolor pencils for a very long time.
So here you go.
Oh and another thing I took notes of my pencils... aren't you proud of me? LOL

skin: PC927, PC943, PC1084, PC928, PC929
eyes: Uni-Ball Signo Pen Broad, Sakura Gelly roll, PC903, PC904 and PC935
Dress: PC992, PC905, PC938 and Clear Star Sakura Stardust pen
Hair: PC941, PC997, PC 914 and PC938
whooo!!! That was too much typing. LOL
The sentiment is from The Greeting Farm.
I couldn't get a good photo of the shimmer in her dress and shoes
but you can see it a little.
Here is a close up.

Oh yea here is the original image.

I hope you like my card.

Thanks for stopping by.
