Show Your Digi Love: Jan Mo's Digital Pencil

Hey Everyone,

Today is my first post with Show Your Digi Love. The blog was created to purely show our love and appreciation for the digi artists out there. Each month there will be a few featured artists and then we can use any stamp that we have purchased from them.... whichever one we want :P Sounds like fun to me.

So this month we are showcasing 3 artists: SBS, Make it Crafty and Mo's Digital Pencil.

Today I chose to make sort of a CAS card with On the Pot boy C.

When I first started using digi stamps it was hard for me to find African American stamps... I love that Mo Manning, with subtle changes to hair and sometimes facial features can recreate one of her caucasian looking images to African American.  On her site you can find a diverse set of digis... You can find various versions on the digi I used on her site right here: Some are boys and some are girls in the same scenarios- isn't that cool?

Completed card. I made it A2 size for a change
I colored him with my Prismacolor Pencils....
a big rusty here but it looks okay I think.
The dies are from My Creative Time and you find them here:

I hand wrote the message with pencils
and I made this mini toilet paper roll to embellish my card.
I had also made another card with mini paper toilet rolls I made myself you can see it here:

This is how I made cut around the book on the floor.

Thank you so much for visiting.
I hope you all liked the card.
Please join us this month and show these artist some love. <3 p="">

Thank you so much for visiting.

TGF: My Heart Belongs to You

Hey Everyone,

I took some time to catch up on some coloring... and also resting from working out... I think I was a little bit too motivated and tried to do two workouts in one day and I hurt by back on one side. LOL
Even though it literally took me all day... well with stopping mainly for the kids and hubby... I was able to work on this digi from the Greeting Farm that I've been meaning to color for ages now.

I used

I had a fun time making this card especially the coloring.
For the base I used Bazzill Basics paper my friend BreAnn sent me.
The Valentine's 6x6 paper pad by Recollections was sent to me in an SBS Swap
last year by my crafty friend Vanessa Bland.
The word dies are from My Creative time.
The Spellbinders Creatopia Frames 1 die was sent to me by BreAnn McFarland. :)

I added Wink Of Stella Glitter; which was also sent to me
by my friend BreAnn McFarland.
(Sometimes I think of her like a crafty fairy god mother. heehee
Here is the inside.

SBS DT: Dies and Judes

Hey Everyone!

Back today with a little image from Simply Betty Stamps and it's all about the Jude and the Rockers. We are to use any die cut; frame, border, cuts, anything just use any die cut from any machine or favorite die brand.

I used Baby Jude Addams that I purchased oooh so long ago and you can find him here: This particular digi did not come with a sentiment like most SBS digis do so I created my own with a poem I found online.

When I colored him up I was totally inspired by the baby Pubert Addams. He's too too cute but he is a handful little fella. LOL I also have a couple of Crafty friends that are Anti-Valentine so they also inspired this card... BreAnn and Tanja. Heehee.

Since the card was inspired by a movie
I used the film die which was gifted in a RAK by BreAnn McFarland.  <3 p="">
The button was given to me in a SBS Secret Pumpkin Blog Hop by Stacey Stratis.  :)
Here is a close-up of him. Too cute and has that totally lovable baby face.
I really love his expression.

Card Recipe:

 Digi Stamp: Jude Baby Addams
Coloring Medium: Copic Markers

Papers: DCWC The immortal Love Stack
and Bazzil Basics Paper for the base

Die/s: The Greeting Farm - Film & Polaroid die set
Accessories: Martha Steward Elegant Witch Fabric and pearl swirls are from Prima just colored with Copic in W9 to match colors of the paper/clothing.

Thank you so much for visiting.

TGF Hello Cheeky Friend

Hey Everyone,

Haven't been creating much... have an no energy and no mojo. I forced my self to do a little coloring with pencils to bring my mojo back and I created this card for a friend.

I'm using Cheeky Beach (click on the link and you'll find the rubber stamp there)
The Cheeky Collection are my most favorite line from TFG stamps :) I have all but one.
I used my Prismacolor pencils to color her.
The Spellbinders/Shapez die Frame 7 my friend BreAnn set to me
and the seashell and starfish is from My Creative Time set called
Surf's Up Stamp Set and you can fine it here.
Close-up on the Prismacolored Cheeky Beach.
Hope you liked my card.

SBS DT: Color Combo

Hey Everyone,

Simply Betty Stamps is bringing back the Teen Scene Steampunks! These cuties will be making their way onto the site something this month.  There was a contest going on at Simply Betty Stamps Fan Page and you just have to use your favorile color or favorite color combo.

I love all of the colors... rainbows... iridescent anything.... but for this card I chose a color that pops for me that I enjoy buying and that is HOT PINK and black.

I used My Funky Valentine Betty (will add the link when it's back in the shop) in the meanwhile you can look around in the teens section if you like this style of digis.   Here is the link

Okay here's my card.

I colored her with Copics. I printed her pretty small
and took me a lot longer to color but it came out alright in the end.
I used Bazzill Basic cardstock for the base and The Sweet Lace cardstock from DCWV
the steampunk gear dies are from Prickley Pear and I bought them here
The big heart box is actually the one she's holding
I just flipped it, enlarged, fussy cut it and then I covered the hand
with some of the design paper I used as the back ground.
Here is a close up of the digi.
Took me a while to color it only because it's much much smaller than what I'm used to coloring.

Thank you for stopping by.

Slinky Tart DT: Valentina has gotcha!

Hey Everyone!

Posting my very first blog for the brand spanking new Slinky Tart. This digi brand was created by Tamara van Wijk, she is the owner of the former The Stamping Chef but unfortunately had to close that shop... she now is only doing Smexy art and Pin-Up style but I love it! If you have any questions regarding the new shop  even for the old store TSC, please don't hesitate to contact Tamara @

Now to show you my creation with Valentina, just click on the link and you'll find her there if you want to buy her. If you love these Smexy/Pin-Up Styled digis then you would love to join in at there are sometimes prizes, get info from store, even inspiration from everyone else who loves Slinky Tart and sometimes who knows... a discount code.

I loved coloring Valentina with my Copic markers.
The clouds I created with my Caran D'ache Supracolor II Soft water color pencils
then of course brushed a little water over the drawing for soft puffy clouds.
The Gotcha, arrow and small heart cuts were from the Silhouette store.
The awesome red and blue Bazzill Basic Paper were gifted in a big stack from
my one of my Crafty BFF's BreAnn. :) Thank you so much.
The super sexy image was provided by Tamara. Thank you very much as well.
Here is a close up of the face.

I hope you love this image and style, they're so fun to work with.

I leave you with the link to the store and the Facebook page

Thank you for visiting.

SBS DT: Favorite SBS image

Hey Crafty Peeps!

Happy New Year!!! I hope you all had a beautiful holiday season. Today I'm sharing my little card... I colored the image a looong time ago. LOL So the challenge over at Simply Betty's Fan page is to use your favorite SBS image and it's an anything goes challenge.... Woohoo! Crafty Freedom! LOL
The crazy part is that I have sooooo many that I would call favorites it's hard to choose just one but I chose this one since it was already colored  up and all...

The Challenge details can be found here:
You have until  Thurday January 7th 11:59PM PST- it has to be uploaded to that specific album.

Her name is Doctor Brittany and you can find her here

The hair looks crazy to color but it's the fun part for me. :)
Whenever I get a chance (aka time) I try to challenge myself with something
a little more difficult to color. I perhaps may be easy for someone else though...
you just have to give it a try.
I colored her up with Copic markers and I tried to match it with
the little ribbon Corinne sent it to me in a Simply Betty Swap,
You can check out that blog post here:
My mom found me those pretty papers from a either a yard sale :)
The papers were still new and wrapped and the recollections cardstock I have
matched it perfectly.
The little butterfly dies are from Prickley Pear and I bought
that little die set from one of my favorite online shops

Thank you for stopping by.
