7 Kids Crafts: Christmas Pine Fairy

Hello Everyone!

Just sharing another card from Christmas Fairy Release by Sweet November Digital Stamps. i am using Christmas Pine Fairy again. I colored her up with Copic markers and and little bit of Polychromos for shading/molding the facial features. For the wings I used Spectrum Noir Sparkle brush pend and Uni-ball Signo Sparkling Gold. The background rubber stamp is from Purple Onion to add to the Recollections: Christmas NOEL Say Freeze paper. The sentiment is also from a Recollections: Christmas NOEL stamp set. I also added gold with the Uniball Signo Sparkling Gold.

There are in the four pretty little Christmas fairies that were released for you all to enjoy. You can find them here:

Christmas Pine Fairy
Christmas Holly Fairy
Christmas Mistletoe Fairy
Christmas Poinsettia Fairy
and if you missed this month's Freebie stamp you can still purchase it here: Jingle

Here's a little excerpt from the Sweet November team about Pine Fairy:

"Some say that Pine Fairy coined the term 'rustic elegance'. She is all about finding the beauty in natural elements when it comes time to decorate for the holidays. From pine cone wreaths bathed in the glow of bees wax candles to the classic Christmas tree decked out with nuts and winter berries, she knows that Christmas doesn't have to be bright and flashy to be beautiful."

I hope that you like the card and hope that you can play along for the month of December at the

7 Kids Crafts: Snowy Christmas Blessings

Hello Everyone!

Welcome to the Christmas Fairy Release week by Sweet November Digital Stamps. I am excited to share the card I made today using:  Christmas Pine Fairy. I colored her up with Copic markers and and little bit of Polychromos for shading/molding the facial features. For the wings I used Spectrum Noir Sparkle brush pend and Uni-ball Signo Sparkling Gold. The die set is by Hello Bluebird and it's Snowy Sky Scene die. I used Distress Oxides for the background.

She does look very elegant and reminded me of those High School Senior portraits we take
for the yearbook. heehee
So I enlarged her and cropped her so I can give her more details on the face.

Here I had to tilt the card and changed the lighting again so you can see her
shimmery wings and embossed stamp from

7 Kids Crafts: Fauna Meadowdancer Artist Trading Coin

Hello Everyone!

Just wanted to share some of the details for the Artist Trading Coin I created on Facebook live at
7 Kids Customers Create! Facebook page you can check out this video here: Facebook Live Fauna Meadowdancer ATCoin This was my very first Facebook live but I wanted to do something to help celebrate 7 Kids Crafts' anniversary.

To start, I used is digital stamp Fauna Meadodancer by Sweet November Stamps. I reduced the size and cropped her so I can fit her into an Artist Trading Coin size which is a 2 and half inch circle. In this case for the 2 and half inch circle I used a punch from Recollections. The wings I used were from a clear stamp set called Fairy Mouse by Pink Ink Designs - that set is no longer available in the shop but there are other sets from the same company available that have wings you can use, such as this one: BEE-utiful.

7 Kids Crafts: Vintage ATC

Hello Everyone!

Hope you are all having a wonderful day. For today's card I wanted to share some Artist Trading Coins. These ATCoins feature some mixed media items and if you didn't know, at 7kidscrafts.com there is a section called Vendor of the Month, the special sale all month is for The Greeting Farm Stamps and for Mixed Media. For the 20% discount items just click this link: Vendor of the Month Sale category and make sure to use code: TGF

The theme for these Artist Trading Coins was Vintage. Everyone has a different opinion of what vintage means and that is quite alright but most people that have posted their Vintage ATCoins
made their images in an antique, aged or worn fashion.

I made 8 to swap with the participants plus 1 more to keep for myself.

Items used:
Inkjet printed photograph
Mod Pondge
Tim Holtz Distress Ink - Vintage Photo
Tim Holtz Distress Micro Glaze
2 1/2 Circle Punch
Stamperia - Rice Paper Gear Wheels & Clock
Graphic 45 - Old Curiosity Shoppe cling stamps
Vilda Stamps - Steampunk Kit - V695

Keep in mind that 7kidscrafts.com is a one-woman-small-crafty-online-shop,

7 Kids Crafts: Kylee's Unicorn

Hello Everyone!

I hope you all are having a lovely day. Today's project is for 7 Kids Crafts and I am working with a clear stamp called Picket Fence Studios - Kylee's Unicorn. This is a really cute set to work with. The images are adorable and the sentiments can be used with many other stamps or projects.
I haven't done this in a long time but I colored with pencils on white paper... it's a little scary but doable. heehee When I saw the little girl "Kylee" I immediately thought about the collectible Blythe Dolls which I think are super cute and I wish I could afford a real/custom doll for my"inner-child"self and to put in my craft-room. I have a factory version (still pricey) of the Blythe doll with a long wig but still needs clothes because well I spend my money on stamps, paper and dies. LOL

Picket Fence Studios - Kylee's Unicorn

I colored this image with Polychromos

I didn't write down the colors for skin and fur
but here are the ones for the hair, the crown, horn and dress

Hair:
Light Phthalo Green, Phthalo, Hookers Green
Light Phthalo Blue, Ultramarine
Permanent Carmine, Madder
Blue Violet,  Violet, Light Magenta

Crown/horn:
Cadmium Yellow, Burnt Ochre, Walnut Brown

Dress:
Light Magenta, Violet, White

The dies are from My Creative Time
and the chunky glitter is from Recollections

LMMS: Chrissie Let It Snow

Hello Crafty Friends!

I hope you've been having a lovely day/evening. It's almost that time again... Christmas time and some of us (me actually) don't have enough Christmas cards created! Yikes! Every year I grab a new Christmas cardstock or paperpad because I think I'll be working on Christmas cards all year long and then I don't get to make as many as I want. Luckily it's still November and have a chance to make cards for a few family members, some teachers and some of my crafty friends- I hope!

On to my card....
I started with a rubber stamp Polka Dot Pals Chrissie from
Little Miss Muffet Stamps and I also used Polka Dot Pals Add-on Faces clear stamp set
I had lots of fun coloring her up on Kraft colored cardstock- to me it gives her
a slight vintage look.
I colored her up with Copic markers and then went in with a few stores of
Polychromos colored pencils.

Some of the Copic colors I used were
B32
R17, R46, R59
Y15, Y35, Y23, Y26, Y28,
W9, W7, W5
YG63, G94
W3, W1
then I laid a little color pencil on top for lighting
Uni-ball Signo White Angelic for the snow and eye lights.

For the colored layered background I used a die from
My Creative Time and the die for Let It Snow sentiment
is a die from Our Daily Bread Designs.

Here's a close-up
I really enjoyed making this card.
I think I will make more in different colors- at least to practice.
I've been playing along with
#thedailymarker30day coloring challenge and really enjoying it
especially with this card- I finished all of the coloring in one day.

Don't forget that there are Anything Goes challenges over at
There's also a sale going on at the shop various stamps

Kraftin' Kimmie: Do I Like Coffee?

Hello Everyone,

It's been a while since I just sat to color or focus on making a card. Here is what I have created this week. I used a retired stamp from http://www.kraftinkimmiestamps.com/ her name is Angie and  Coffee & Friends! set for the sentiment. I can't believe it's retired!!! I will surely miss Annie Rodrigue's new releases at Kraftin' Kimmie- she is definitely one of my favorite artists. Anyway, I used marker paper and I wanted to experiment using colored pencils on marker paper to see how it looked. I'm still not sure how I feel about it, so I I only colored the skin and hair with pencils and then I colored the clothing with Copic markers. I stamped the same image on a Scrapbook paper I trimmed down from Michaels, it's called Garden Party from Craft Smart. I then fussy cut the image I colored and carefully glued her on top with some Glossy Accents.

Here is my completed card

I colored her up and fussy cut her and glued her on top of the
uncolored image since I can't colored directly on the Design Paper
and I knew I was goin to loose some of the curly hair.

Here are the Copic Colored I used:

Here is a close up of Angie.

LMMS: Ryker Smile

Good Morning!

It's time for a new challenge over at  Little Miss Muffet Challenges and as always it's an Anything Goes Challenge. Here is what I've created using Polka Dot Pal Ryker and one of the faces from Polka Dot Pals Add-on Faces. I always need some male/boy cards and it seems that I don't have one on hand...yikes... trying to get better at that. This image is perfect for different occasions too so I definitely had to color him up. :D

I used Copic markers to color him up.
I was extremely indecisive on the skin and clothes
for some reason....  Then I decided to go with a
green even though the background is green and maybe I should of gone with a
muted red or some type of reddish brown. I don't know maybe I'll do another card.
I also want to try another card with "mess" with the texture of the hair.
Back to the green... heehee since I colored his gree and I had already picked and cut
up the paper to make the card I left a white edge when cutting the image.
I typically do not like leaving the white and I didn't like it agains the green
so I glued the image on black cardstock and left an edge around that and to me
it really pops and he doesn't fade into the background.
Oh yea! I almost forgot to mention that the paper is from the Michael's Recollections line.
I bought the big 12x12 when it was on sale I think I paid a little more than $5-tax included.
A couple weeks later I saw the same stack but in the 6x6 pad but I didn't
buy it cause I was trying to quickly buy something else while I was supposed to be
grocery shopping... (shhhh don't tell my husband... or my kids)
but also the 6x6 paper cost more than the 12x12! What's up with that?
The 6x6 paper cost $5.99 and no good coupons available that week. LOL
Here is a close up.
I added Glossy Accents (that I did but with a 50% off coupon a different week LOL)
to the lens to give it that "glass" look and same with the flash.

The "Smile" die and the "polaroid" die with the sentiment are all from My Creative Time.

I hope you liked my card and didn't get bored with my rambling.

LMMS: Happy Birthday Cupcake!

Hello Everyone! Happy New Year!

This image is a rubber stamp from Little Miss Muffet Stamps, she's called Polka Dot Pals Yang and I used a clear face from the Polka Dot Pals Add-on Faces. I wanted to color her in an African skin tone since it's for one of my Hubby's relatives that has a January birthday. I chose the color red because it's her favorite color and her birth stone is the Garnet.

It took a while for me to finish my card... besides being the holidays, everyone in our household was sick with flu symptoms and all of us had this bad cough. I had no time for crafting which puts me in a really grouchy mood. I wanted to make sure to add lots of little details to the card and I am happy that it's finished.

Some of the colors I used on this image are:
E31, E33, E74, E27, E23, E04, E07, E79, E00, C1 N2
W9, W7, W5
E97, E27, E99, E77, Sepia Copic Multiliner
N2, N0, 0
R24, R29, R46, R56
B21, B95, B97 and B45
I drew in the stool myself.
(Must find a chair or stool or some stamp of that nature for her to sit on...  I saw some of the inspiration photos from the LMMS store. LMMS store here I come... heehee jk. I need a nap actually.)
The scalloped die is from CC Design,
The oval dies are from My Creative Time,
The Happy Birthday dies are from Elizabeth Craft Design called 947 - Happy Birthday Pop-Up
The Recollections paper pad is called Valentine
The blue paper it's also a recollections paper but I stamped it
with a grid mesh using Distress Inks to give it a worn jean look and to
break up a lot of that beige in the background.
I found the January birthday poem online.

Here is a close-up.

Thank you for stopping by.
I hope you got a little bit of inspiration from this card.

Snowball Fairy

Good morning!

Last night I was working on this fairy that I've had for a while now but I hadn't trimmed it. I don't know why I don't do it when I first get my stamps..... I need to get better with that. This one is a retired gray Rubber Stamp but it may have been re-made into clear or revamped I'm not sure.  I found  a photo of the insert online so you can see how it looked on the shop. I also took a picture of a fraction of the mess I had created while trimming and coloring this fairy. No, It's not cute but when I get most creative the results for my desk are spread out and messy. At the end I might start a new coloring with the same pencils or markers or I'll put everything away and start fresh.

The Flowers are from Not2Shabby Shop (I just colored them a little),
The corner Snowflake die is from LaLa Land Crafts,
and the Oval dies are from Spellbinders and from Avery Elle.
The paper is from Doodlebug Design

 close-up
I used Sakura gel pens for some of the shimmer
I also used iridescent Chunky Glitter from Recollections.

Here's some of my kreative mess
These are most of the Copic makers, a Copic Multiliner, a Sakura Gelly Roll,
a Uni-ball Signo Angelic, and one Prismacolor pencil

Here is how the stamp set looks (only mine is lavender)

I used Kraftin' Kimmie's September Sketch

I hope you liked my card.

For a Purr-fect Friend

Gooooood Morning!

Today I finished a Christmas card I started working most of the night....(shhhhh don't tell my Hubby LOL   ) and I finished this morning. The clear stamp I purchased from  Kraftin' Kimmie and it's called Purr-fect Princess. It's not a holiday stamp but I sort of sketched out and drew a Christmas tree in similar style to Annie Rodrigue (no as nice as hers but I wanted to give that playful look.) I colored everything in bright cheery Christmas colors that I would pick for my Christmas balls and Christmas lights. ha! I used Prismacolor Pencils from my 150 set on Kraft cardstock.

I was so happy to get some sunlight for my picture! Woohoo!

Here's a close-up

And here's another close-up where you can see some of my scribbles that are
caused by the wax from the Prismacolor pencils. ha!

Oh yea! I used the sketch from Kraftin Kimmie Stamps as well.

I hope you liked my Christmas/Holiday card. :)

Thank you for visiting.

Latte Birthday Wishes

Hello Everyone!

I'm latte! I'm latte! I'm latte for a very important date.... LOL  Today I have a coffee themed birthday card for you... it's a little belated birthday card. I'm thinking I need to make more of these (when I get time) with different skin tones and different hair colors and just have them ready for when I forget a birthday or just cause I'm busy. ha! I found this coffee themed 12x12 paper at Michael's and I had a few coffee cards for friends and teachers in mind but I love how clean and simple this one looks.

I colored her up with Copic markers
some of the colors I used are:
BV000, E55, E53, E51, E50 E21, R21, R20 and R30
for the clothing G07, G46 and G94 also N6, N4 and N2
The dotted circle die is from My Creative Time
as well at the new sentiment.  To make the black outer layer
I just traced around the die and cut with scissors.
the design coffee paper is from Recollections (found at Michaels)
and the base cardstock are from Michael's as well only the black
cardstock is the 110 lb paper I love to use for bases and the
white is 65 lb I like to use for simple layering.

I was going to go for an otter bounds image and circle so I had cut out the face
and the latte/coffee but the head ended fitting inside the circle because
I didn't align it right LOL    so the only thing that is outer bounds is the
latte/coffee but it ends out working out because the person receiving it doesn't
wear skirts or dresses and now it just looks like a trench coat which she does wear
sometimes. LOL

Anyway, I hope you liked my card.

Have a wonderful day.

Stamp AnnieThing Preview Day #3 Lucille

Hi and welcome to Day #3 of
Stamp Anniething's November release!

We got some really fun new Chibi Kids to share with you today!

Lucille is available in the store Today along with the other 2 stamps we show you  this week!!
`~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~
Good morning Crafty Peeps!

Today is is the release day for all of the cuties we showcased this week.
I like them all but one of the ones I love most is the Lucille chibi
she is so adorable with her little curls.
So this is my card:

I colored her up with Copic markers.

Doesn't seem like it but I used a bunch of colors with her.
skin: Bv00, E0000, E000, E21, E50, R20, R30 and R33
for the eye lights I used Copic White
hair: E08, E35, E23, YR27 and Y35
for her clothing: N4, N6, N8, R46, R29, R27 and R24
for the vest hoodie I paper pieced from a
Recollections Christmas 8.5 x11 stack called
Frosty Cabin
found some year or two or three years ago. [gulp]
I really don't need any more Christmas paper
unless it's from Doodlebug Design or Echo Park
those I  use up really fast. LOL
The die is from Craftin Desert Divas.
Oh snap! I could have made the hoodie brown
just like her deer hat. I didn't even think about that 'til
now... Now I have to color up another Lucille. ha!
but that's okay I love her! :P
My mind has been every where ATM with my kids'
school meetings and events, and CCSA meetings,
church choir rehearsals and other functions for the kids. I
love all of that stuff but now we are also house
hunting and that has been taking up most of the time
and it's actually becoming overwhelming or really a little bit
stressful since we don't really know the neighborhood.
On the flip side of that I most likely will have my own
craft room where I can close the door and my things
will be untouched by kids- keeping my fingers crossed for that
and I love my hubby but I hope that I won't have to
share that space with him either.... so he won't have to look
at all the scrappy things I have bought or use my scissors...Seriously!!!
Y'all know how that is. LOL
okay too much of my unorganized, unscripted, unplanned... or just plain crazy
crafting mom life. ha!

Here is a close-up of my colored up Lucille.

I hope you enjoyed our November release!
All the new stamps are available NOW in the store!
Woot Woot!

 Have a great day!

To a very important patient

Good morning Crafty Peeps!

Today I made a 6x6 card using Holly - Cheer Up, she's a super cute little nurse. Actually, you can leave out her nurse hat and just color her as a little girl holding a Teddy Bear but this time I actually stamped and masked the hat so she can be a little nurse. The message "To a V.I.P... Very Important Patient" I just hand-wrote with my Sakura Pigma Sensei black pen.
The Markers I used are Copic.
The Teddy Bear was colored with E50, E51, E35 and E55
The clothing was N4, N2, N0. R46 and R35
All of the background paper is from Recollections
and the paper I used to color is from Crafter's Companion.

Here is a close up of Holly - Cheer Up

I hope you like her.

Thank you for looking.
