7 Kids Crafts: Steampunk Debutante

Hello Everyone!

I purchased another Graphic 45 - Steampunk Debutante (Deluxe Collector's Edition) and felt like yes, I can cut the one I already have. haha I love things Steampunk or Victorian Era but always feel intimidated to cut my paper or really I don't feel that I know how to ensemble a great project with such fancy papers.

When I think about the Victorian era I also think about Steampunk. Fancy people of society roaming the sidewalks, many political gatherings, dinners or parties and lots of inventions. Even the houses and gardens that I imagine are beautiful to sit and admire. If I had lots of money for my wedding, I would have chosen a Victorian theme especially after watching a Novela called Alondra.  I was fascinated with their wardrobe in that Novela.

I had so much fun creating this card and with pretty much everything from the Graphic 45 - Steampunk Debutante (Deluxe Collector's Edition) except for the flowers some are from 7 Kids Craft Store and some are from Not2SshabbyShop. The Sprocket Gears are by Tin Holtz idea-ology that I got from Michael's many moons ago and same from the clocks which are a Michael's brand.

Lots of fussy cutting went down to make this project. Some days I look at it and it looks like a fancy feminine card and other days I look at it like: Oh man did I pile it on too much? But nah, you can't have too many roses or butterflies right?

Here is how the original lady with the corset looks and I added some
color with Copic markers. I forgot to write them down but I did
take note of the Copic Refills I used to tint the flowers to try
to match to the fun Steampunk Papers.

Copic Refills:
R11, YR21, YR12
BG10, BG34
Y21, YR21

For A Star Student

Hello Everyone!

Just wanted to share my completed card with the image I colored for Day 24 of the 30 Day Coloring Challenge. To make this card I used Taylor - Think Like A Proton. I created this card for my daughter Jade. I was inspired to use a different hair color copic combination when I saw Stephen's Facebook live video while coloring Cleopatra.

I colored her up with Copic Markers.
The Background is done with Distress Oxide.
The Stars are from a Memory Box stencil called Stars Star Show
The tiny little stars are from one of the Grab and Box- I think it was the Star Wars one.
The letters are from a Tim Hotlz/Sizzix set I got on Clearance from
7 Kids Crafts clearance section.

Thank you for visiting

I will be entering my card at:

7 Kids Crafts: Vintage ATC

Hello Everyone!

Hope you are all having a wonderful day. For today's card I wanted to share some Artist Trading Coins. These ATCoins feature some mixed media items and if you didn't know, at 7kidscrafts.com there is a section called Vendor of the Month, the special sale all month is for The Greeting Farm Stamps and for Mixed Media. For the 20% discount items just click this link: Vendor of the Month Sale category and make sure to use code: TGF

The theme for these Artist Trading Coins was Vintage. Everyone has a different opinion of what vintage means and that is quite alright but most people that have posted their Vintage ATCoins
made their images in an antique, aged or worn fashion.

I made 8 to swap with the participants plus 1 more to keep for myself.

Items used:
Inkjet printed photograph
Mod Pondge
Tim Holtz Distress Ink - Vintage Photo
Tim Holtz Distress Micro Glaze
2 1/2 Circle Punch
Stamperia - Rice Paper Gear Wheels & Clock
Graphic 45 - Old Curiosity Shoppe cling stamps
Vilda Stamps - Steampunk Kit - V695
Chocolate Baroque - Steampunk Butterfly
Tim Holtz - idea-logy Clipping Stickers

Keep in mind that 7kidscrafts.com is a one-woman-small-crafty-online-shop,
so some items are sold in limited amounts. BUT Kelly also brings new items in
very frequently so it's always exciting to watch for the items
especially when she shows us the Facebook live videos.

7 Kids Crafts: I hold you in my heart

Hello Everyone,

Many people don't talk about it- at least I haven't heard much people talk about their experience. I have heard some say it happened to them at some point but that is it. I know that it can be too difficult to share... Sometimes it's a fast process and sometimes it's a long process both physically and emotionally. Everyone deals with their loss in different ways and some always have a feeling of a void. So, this time I'd like to share a card with Miscarriage and Stillbirth in mind. I chose the Miscarriage Awareness colors. pink and blue. This clear stamp set was sent to me by Kelly with the rest of my January Design Team Package goodies and it was the first stamp I knew what I wanted to create right away. This stamp set is called Visible Image clear stamp set, Bloom and Grow. The Distress Oxides I actually purchased from 7kidscrafts.com before I became a DT member and I was very excited to play with them.

Distress Oxides + Water + Sheer Shimmer Spritz
Broken China
Picked Raspberry

Distress Ink:
Broken China
Picked Raspberry

Baby stamped with:
Ranger Archival Ink, Shadow Gray

I stitched two ribbons together to form the Miscarriage Awareness colors.

The sentiment and Bible verse are from my crafty stash...
The stamp is from  JustRite Stamps clear
stamp set called With Sympathy

No Matter what stage
Your baby existed.
Your baby mattered.
(Don't know who the author of this poem is.)

7 Kids Crafts: Nora Northlight

Hello Crafty Friends,

Happy New Year! I hope you all had a wonderful holiday break and a fabulous new year. I'm excited to tell you that Kelly form https://www.7kidscrafts.com/ had a design team call so I decided to give it a go. I was shocked that I was one of the chosen designers because I felt there was a tough competition, many talented crafters applied besides myself. Before Christmas I was messaged to see if I was still interested, of course I said yes and soon after I received a parcel with some DT goodness. All of the items I received here in the YouTube video 7 Kids Crafts DT Package are all available at https://www.7kidscrafts.com/.

Here is the card I created with digital stamp
Sweet November Digital Stamp: Winter Fairytale - Nora Northlight
and a clear stamp sentiment from
Witt and Sass Stamp Company Clear Stamp - You Are Beautiful set
both can be found at: https://www.7kidscrafts.com/

Here are the Polychromos (and a couple of Prismacolor) color pencils I used:

Skin: Ivory, Burnt Sienna, Caput Mortuum and Medium Flesh
Hair: Black, Cold Grey VI and White
Cloak and Gloves: Walnut Brown, Burnt Sienna, Beige (Prismacolor),
then White, Ivory and Walnut Brown for fur
Dress and Boots: Brown Ochre, Burnt Sienna
Snow: White, Cold Grey III and 20% Cool Grey (Prismacolor)
Sky and Water: Sky Blue. I added Spectrum Noir Sparkle to the water.
Wings: Copic Y21, Outlined with Cadmium Yellow, added dots and stars with Cadmium Yellow and then added Spectrum Noir Sparkle on top.

The large rectangle die to cut the top layer and small dies to make the sign post for the sentiments are from My Creative Time tiny tags and the fence that I cut to use one portion of it is from La La Land Crafts. I used a little bit of Gathered Twigs distress ink on the sign post.

LMMS Guest DT Inspiration card using Zappa

Hello Crafty Friends,

I hope everyone is having a wonderful week! I have joined the Little Miss Muffet Stamps Guest Design Team. I am honored to be invited as Guest DT and feel very welcome. I have an inspiration card that I can't wait to show you. I have used Polka Dot Pals Zappa and one of the Polka Dot Pals Add-On Faces (Digital). If you have a program such as Adobe Photoshop Elements Editor or anything similar you can definitely used them. I have even used the faces on another LMMS stamp with a word document program such as LibreOffice. With Photoshop though you have more freedom to size, move the faces, tilt or rotate.

I used Prismacolor Pencils to color this image
I am pleased the way she came out.
The Little Miss Muffet Stamp images make it easy to
add facial features such as a puffy or child-like face.
The papers are from Doodlebug Design Inc: October 31st

Here is the my coloring early on...  99% of the time I color the face first
and then the rest of skin. I colored it a little more after this
but I just wanted to show a little bit of the process in the beginning stage.

The Prismacolors I used are
PC: 109, 140, 901, 908 915, 926, 929, 935, 938,
942, 943, 945, 946, 947, 995, 997, 1012, 1056, 1078, 1102
and I used Uni-ball Signo Angelic white pen
For the background I used a Tim Holtz Distress Ink

Please check out Little Miss Muffet Challenge blog for
Challenges (Always Anything Goes) and for more inspiration.

I hope you liked my card.
Thank you so much for visiting!

*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*
So here we go for August'sTheme Week!
Make ANY project that was inspired by a movie, character, song, brand, etc!
*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*
For this card I pieced three different stamps to make Harley Quinn
Trudy- Birdcage,  Chloe - Stay Cool and Jemma - Happy Easter
I watched Suicide Squad and and I kept listening to some of the songs
even other songs that are related but not on the Soundtrack that
are most likely something Harley Quinn would sing or relating to her
character. I guess I got a little bit crazy with it.

I used Trudy- Birdcage's head and hair,
Chloe - Stay Cool for her shorts and legs and then I used
Jemma - Happy Easter for her little jacket.
I had so much creating this card.
The background is a Tim Holtz embossing folder
and I distressed it and doodled a little.
The Smile die is from The Greeting Farm
It was so much fun creating this card.

Hope you will play along with us in our Monthly Theme Week! You can see and post all your projects in our Facebook Group HERE

I hope liked my project for today and thanks for visiting!
Have a great day!
