Happy Blessings w TGF

Hello Everyone!

As many of you know Autumn just begun and it's the time of the year when I'm trying to think of Thank you cards, Christmas cards or anything of the sort. LOL Yes I'm a big time procrastinator.... sort of.

Well there is a color combo challenge going on at TGF and I've been wanting to work on more TGF cards but I've been working on DT stuff or family stuff. Finally I got chance to make on even when though I had stuff to do- just had to get this idea out of my head first.

For my card I used a rubber stamp called Wil Sprouts Gracie I don't remember if I got her from eBay or from TGF's Farmer's Market since I'm missing the little card that comes with the rubber stamp.

I colored her up with Copic Markers.... my fave!

slight side view so you can see it popped up.

This is the Photo Inspiration from the TGF Blog

Sorry the blog is sort of short but I gotta go.

Thank you so much for stopping by.

I Love You For Your Braaaains

Hey Everyone,

Hope everyone is having a good old time this weekend. Today I plan on catching up on a few projects. I finally finished a card that I had colored the image for like a week ago but the card base was just taking me forever. It was a fun project just the figuring out papers takes me a while. #cardmakerproblems

http://simplybettystamps.blogspot.com/ Released some new digis last week and Zombie Bday Betty; I just had to get her even though I'm not THAT into zombies. This was was rather pretty. LOL

So here's my card and I had to think Zombie Tattoo- or at least for the challenge.

Here is my completed card. I was thinking tattoo lettering that I am able to write or really
that would take me too long. I really liked how my blood came out.
I used both Copic and Sakura pens to create the blood.
The paper is mostly from DCWV: The Street Lace Stack.
This one shows the colors a lot closer to how it shows on the card.
I took this picture outside while it was sunny.
More of my own handwriting with random words that fit the image.
And finally here is a shot of the side so you can sort of see the layers.
I used the doubled sided adhesive foam to pop it up.

I had so much coloring this image like I just had nothing to do. LOL
Very relaxing to color although my kids were going nuts
and having their way in my living room and dining room.

I used this sketch from Kraftin' Kimmie's Stamps challenge on Kit & Clowder FB group

Thank you so much for stopping by.

TSC DT: Sirena Wall Decor

Hello Everyone,

Stopping by with a project that I have been working on for a while and finally I was able to finish it and I have it all done to show off now. I've been working on it bits and pieces here and there to give it the attention it deserves. I think my coloring has even improved since I colored the mermaid a Whiiiiiile back lol.

Anyway, this was a mixed media project and I used Sirena as the main focus/image.
(click on link and it'll take you right to the shop.

I mostly have some old paintings, calendars random pictures of my family
but nothing really scrapbook/crafty style on my walls so I created this wall hanging
for may crafting spot.
Have I ever said how much I love mermaids?
I sure hope Tamara can draw up some more for me to color.... yea!!!
So the colored area measures 9"x6"
not too big but not tiny that it will be swallowed by everything else on the wall. LOL
I used all sorts of mediums to create this scene.
mermaid digi stamp: The Stamping Chef's Sirena
Chocolate Baroque rubber stamps: Something Fishy
Sentiment Rubber Stamp: Live In The Sun
I used a Color Catcher  my online crafty buddy Tanja sent me in swap
Stampendous! Frantage embossing enamel
Caran D'Ache Supracolor II watersoluable pencils
Copic Markers
Like 3 different Glimmer Mist Sprays from The Stamp Room
Copic Multi-Liner
Watercolor paper
Eyelets
The photos do not show very well but it's actually very shimmery.

Thanks for stopping by.

Check out the TSC Recipes on FB
The FB group is loads of fun and every now and then Tamara throws in a freebie,

TTPH DT: Kenny K Teacher Card

Hello Crafty Peeps!

Trying to unwind from a crazy week.... still have loads to do but still grateful for everything.

This week at Through The Purple Haze Challenges blog is ANYTHING GOES with an option to use Wood or Chipboard and our Sponsor this week is Kenny K Woohoo!

So I was assigned this image called Sexy Teacher. The image is super cute but I don't know any sexy teachers LOL and if I did I would feel weird giving them a sexy card. LOL So I hope I don't offend Kenny him in anyway but I had to add a paper skirt on top of the image so I am able to USE this card for my son's Kindergarten teacher. She wears big colorful skirts all of the time. I showed my son my card and he told me, "I told you my teacher loves purple!" LOL I said, "Well you can make her a card using lots of purple." LOL I was asking if he liked it and what he thought but I guess he TOLD ME.... Ha! Anyway on to my card.

Okay, I do NOT have chipboard and the wood veneer that I do have are bikes. LOL It was
an optional twist. I used paper with pencils.... but I hope you like it anyway.
I colored my Teacher with Copic Markers
The papers are from Me & My Big Ideas and it's called Off To School.
The dies and sentiment stamps are from My Creative Time.

That's all folks!
Make sure you join Team B this week at
TTPH by linking some cards.
Make sure that if you want to be counted for the drawing for the prize that you only have 10 entries ladies and gents.

Thank you for visiting,

TSC DT: Dear Credit Card

Hello Everyone!

Today, I start showcasing as Design Team member at http://thestampingchef.com/Challenges/ I feel very grateful that they even considered me to be in the team.

Tamara's  digis (the owner) at http://thestampingchef.com/Shop/ are usually funny, always quirky and smexy :P Her images have always been a real treat to color.

Today I am showcasing, Stacey Spectacular (click and the link and it'll take you right to her at the shop)

I used Copic markers to color this image. I used 3D  very thick stickers from the Paper House to embellish and give my card dimension.  The cardstock is from recollections and the design
paper is from  Me and My Big ideas.

I hope you can read the writing... I should of typed it.... but I'll do that the next time. It says:

Dear Credit Card
I love you!
'Til debt
do us part.

Sincerely,

Miss Shopaholic

I thought it was pretty funny and fit well with the image.

I used Glossy Accents for her glass area and on her eye glass frame.

Here you can see the dimension of the 3D stickers.

By the way Tamara also offers custom watermarks and you can find them here:
http://thestampingchef.com/Shop/downloads/custom-watermark/

I hope you liked what I had to show.

As always it's Anything Goes!

TTPH DT: Fairy in the Wilderness

Hello Everyone!

Hope you ALL are having a great weekend. For everyone here in the USA, Happy Labor Day

My husband and I are on a mini getaway in Mammoth Lakes, CA just past Yosemite National Forest. We are here for a our friends Matt and Farm's wedding. It's so beautiful here.  Hubby forgot his laptop  so I can't upload any of those pictures yet. LOL

So this week we are showcasing images from Whoopsi Daisy. Mine is a little fairy girl with cupcakes.

I used all Copic markers to color my image.
Sometimes CAS is a little challenging for me but I gave it a go anyway with a card sketch I found online. I hope you like it.

Make sure to follow TTPH's Challenge  #57 this week. The theme is ANYTHING GOES. Again our sponsor is Whoopsidaisy Digis. Have fun :)
