Sweet November Guest DT - Tide Mayfin

Hello Everyone!

I'm excited Sweet November has launched their own website and also asked me to guest DT for their opening release. The newest stamp in the shop is called Tide Mayfin, you can use her with or without the little fish. I decided to use Tide Mayfin with the little fish because I wanted to create a Teacher Appreciation card. During the Quarantine the classes have been on zoom and have different classroom times, some are the entire class, some days small groups and some days one on one. Tide Mayfin looks so happy with the little school of fish swimming around her that I was inspired to make a teacher card with her.

I colored her up with Polychromos and the background with a marker to cover the base. I tried to keep the most detail on the mermaid and the little school of fish by coloring with bright and cheerful colors.

You can find more info about the new releases and other fun content at: Friends of Sweet November Stamps

Latte Birthday Wishes

Hello Everyone!

I'm latte! I'm latte! I'm latte for a very important date.... LOL  Today I have a coffee themed birthday card for you... it's a little belated birthday card. I'm thinking I need to make more of these (when I get time) with different skin tones and different hair colors and just have them ready for when I forget a birthday or just cause I'm busy. ha! I found this coffee themed 12x12 paper at Michael's and I had a few coffee cards for friends and teachers in mind but I love how clean and simple this one looks.

I colored her up with Copic markers
some of the colors I used are:
BV000, E55, E53, E51, E50 E21, R21, R20 and R30
for the clothing G07, G46 and G94 also N6, N4 and N2
The dotted circle die is from My Creative Time
as well at the new sentiment.  To make the black outer layer
I just traced around the die and cut with scissors.
the design coffee paper is from Recollections (found at Michaels)
and the base cardstock are from Michael's as well only the black
cardstock is the 110 lb paper I love to use for bases and the
white is 65 lb I like to use for simple layering.

I was going to go for an otter bounds image and circle so I had cut out the face
and the latte/coffee but the head ended fitting inside the circle because
I didn't align it right LOL    so the only thing that is outer bounds is the
latte/coffee but it ends out working out because the person receiving it doesn't
wear skirts or dresses and now it just looks like a trench coat which she does wear
sometimes. LOL

Anyway, I hope you liked my card.

Have a wonderful day.

Felicity - October Day #3 Release

Hi and welcome to day #3 of Stamp AnnieThing  Release!
This release is all about being a hipster and trendy, so without further ado, here is...

Frappuccino loving Facility - Hello

Just like all the hip and trendy kids, Just loves to grab a frappe
and go go go!!!
With the cute black out hello word bubble, she is a great little
stamp for every day occasions!

Felicity available in the store now along with other 2 stamps
we showcased this week!!!

Check out the awesome creations the Stamp AnnieThing Design Team made  with the Frappuccino Loving Felicity - Hello

Here is my card

This is for my daughter's teachers so I gave her a little more
grown up look by adding a little lipstick and eyebrows.
I colored her with Copic markers I used some digital papers that I thought
would be so perfect with Felicity.

I typed the quote but of course you can use it the sentiment with any of the Stamp AnnieThing
images. I used Felicity's the hello sentiment for yesterday's James card.
I stamped Felicity inside with Memento Dessert Sand to make it
look like a watermark.

"Today I will
make dreams
happen...
but first, coffee!"

I saw this quote on a mug and thought it was funny
but appropriate to give to a teacher...
(don't want to get in trouble for certain typed of humor) LOL

Like yesterday's card I added glossy accents to make
the frappe cup look like shiny plastic.

All of the stamps we showcased this week are available in the store today!!!
Thank you for joining us for our October Release.
Have a Great Day

TTPH DT: Kenny K Teacher Card

Hello Crafty Peeps!

Trying to unwind from a crazy week.... still have loads to do but still grateful for everything.

This week at Through The Purple Haze Challenges blog is ANYTHING GOES with an option to use Wood or Chipboard and our Sponsor this week is Kenny K Woohoo!

So I was assigned this image called Sexy Teacher. The image is super cute but I don't know any sexy teachers LOL and if I did I would feel weird giving them a sexy card. LOL So I hope I don't offend Kenny him in anyway but I had to add a paper skirt on top of the image so I am able to USE this card for my son's Kindergarten teacher. She wears big colorful skirts all of the time. I showed my son my card and he told me, "I told you my teacher loves purple!" LOL I said, "Well you can make her a card using lots of purple." LOL I was asking if he liked it and what he thought but I guess he TOLD ME.... Ha! Anyway on to my card.

Okay, I do NOT have chipboard and the wood veneer that I do have are bikes. LOL It was
an optional twist. I used paper with pencils.... but I hope you like it anyway.
I colored my Teacher with Copic Markers
The papers are from Me & My Big Ideas and it's called Off To School.
The dies and sentiment stamps are from My Creative Time.

That's all folks!
Make sure you join Team B this week at
TTPH by linking some cards.
Make sure that if you want to be counted for the drawing for the prize that you only have 10 entries ladies and gents.

Thank you for visiting,

Katya Bess
