JIC DT: Hearts and Ribbons

Good morning Everybody!

Here with another card for Just Inspirational Designs. This week our sponsor is The East Wind Digital Stamps.

Today I used digi stamp called: Flowery Bride Mon Amour.

I used Copic markers to color her. I used papers from Heartwarming Vintage Collection: Classic Pad
I wanted her dress to look aged liked an vintage/antique dress
I added a few sparkles to the dress with my Sakura pen.
The pretty Spellbinder's heart die was a gift from my good crafty pal BreAnn McFarland
The die is called Vines of Passion.
I tried to give her some soft make-up instead of bold like I normally would..

Hope you like my card.

Make sure you participate and enter at
There are prizes up for grabs.

Until next time.
Thank you for stopping by.

Valentine's Day Box Swap!

Hi Everyone! Happy Valentine's & Happy Friendship Day!

Today we finally get to show our goodies from our "All Hearts Altered Wine Bottle Box Swap." My buddy is Vanessa Bland. When I got my buddy name I was excited because she seems like such a fun person and I can have more fun creating something but then I also thought what to get this woman??? I had no clue. What I did was stalked and stalked her Facebook page even her husband's page... am I a weirdo or what? LOL but I have a healthy and clean valid reason... or at least is what I keep telling myself.... you'll see.  Okay... if you'd like to see everyone who participated in this swap please start at
SBS Blog

Here is the card I made for Vanessa.
Vanessa has purple hair and on her Facebook page she has this rainbow outfit. LOL
She's not very girly so I gave her black wings and tried not to make the card a fufu.
I had so much fun coloring this image. Thank you so much Betty for letting us have this image. :)

This is the card Vanessa made for me. :) Love the coloring and its a big card! I love that!

Here are all of my goodies!!! WWWOOOWWW!!! Crafty Goodies overload!!!! :D
I can't wait to be able to sit down and make something!
She even gave me a rubber ducky (not pictured) that My Baby Daenerys took off with. LOL
It's so cute and it lights up.

Thank you Vanessa! I love ALL of my goodies! You sure know how to spoil a crafty girl! LOL
____________________________________________________________
Now this is the rest of the stuff I got for Vanessa.
She stated she loved Jack Skellington so I made sure I got something with that.
Here is the wine box I decorated.
Found a cute little chocolate box and those nail tattoos. LOL
Okay this is the reason I stalked Vanessa's page...
So I can draw her and her hubby ask Jack Skellington & Sally.
Plus since it's for Valentine's day... why not make it a love theme. heehee.
Hope you like it :)

JIC DT: It's Easy to Spot a Lady

Good morning Everyone!!!

Here with another Just Inspirational Design Team project.

This week's theme is "Ladies" and the sponsor is Emma Canning.

The image I used is The Happy Couple. (click on the name/link and you'll be directed to her etsy shop.)

Here is a link to Just Inspirational Challenge: Team A theme - Ladies
Okay on to showing off my little creation.

I used my Copic markers to color this cute couple.
This is my first time using Wild Orchid Crafts flowers- I love them so cute!
The roses were all white and I colored them with my Copic markers...
one my kids used up my entire Copic Air Can... Noooo!!!
Maybe the hubby will just get me the Copic Air Compressor... LOL yea right! A girl can dream right?
I decided to go on the simple side since I'm so challenged with Card Sketches...
It came out a little better than I pictured in my head.
I also hand wrote the sentiment....
"It's easy to spot a Lady"
for those that can't read my chicken scratch.

Colors used.
Dress, Suit and Roses: R24, R27, R46 & R39
Suit: B95, B97 & B99
Her Skin: E50, E51, E53 & R20 for blush
His Skin: E51, E53 & E55
Her Hair: E33, Y23, Y21 & Y13
His Hair: E79, E77 & E71

Happy Sweet Sixteen

Hello Everyone!

Today is a special young lady's 16th birthday. Happy Birthday Rio!!! In honor of Rio's birthday we're celebrating with a card share and blog hop.

Hi Rio and Happy Sweet Sixteenth Birthday. I hope you are having the time of your life. Always stay smart and sweet :) I wish you the best in all of your endeavors now and the rest of your life. Hugs.

Now on to the hop. If you are coming from the very talented Jackie Randolph's blog then you're in the right place. If not then you should start at Simply Betty's Blog

I used Rio Mad Hatter Reads Digi and I used the Surprise Pop-Out Card Die and Stitched Gift Card Pocket Die to create my card. Here is a link of how the die works: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m3TxSexNT-o#t=276

Here is the card I made.

Here's a close-up. I cropped and it made it a close up so it can fit on that little flip section of the card.
This is the other side when I open or flip the card for a fun surprise. I so love this die.
I created that layer... with Kraft Paper from Recollections- it's called:  "Printed Cardstock Timeless."
I kept eyeing it at Michael's LOL and now every time I look at it I'm absolutely in love with it. LOL
.... here is part of my process to give it a more dimensional look
I used only Copic markers to color my image.

JIC DT: Dilly Beans theme Swirls

Hi Everyone!!!

Briefly showing a digi I colored but wasn't able to make it into a card on time to post on the challenge blog. Everyone in my house hold has been sick and now I'm playing catch-up with all of my projects. Team A's challenge at JIC is now over but still wanted to share the completed project anyway. I really feel bad that I wasn't able to participate on time.

This is image was created by Megan K. Suarez creator of: Dilly Beans. The name of this digi is  Lulu Framed. (click on the link and you'll find her if you'd like to purchase her.)
