Kitten Smitten

   Hello!

I'm here to show you my latest card using

Here I set here up on a cute little cat friendly house on a flowery hill. LOL
I got this from a Doodlebug Kitten Smitten 12x12 paper I got a while back... I cropped it down with
a die and then famed it. The background paper is from the same line from
Doodlebug Kitten Smitten. This paper line is way too cute and it pairs up
nicely with  Brittney and her kitten.

I used Copic markers to color the stamp.
Here are all of the colors I used:
E0000, E000, E01, E21, BV31, R20, R30
Y21, Y23, Y26, Y28
YR27, YR24, YR20, YR14
RV14, RV17 and RV19

the dies are from
My Creative Time and from Craftin' Desert Divas
I love cats so this card was so much fun for me to color.
I hope you all grab her from the store
and have fun coloring as much as I did.

Thank you for stopping by to take a look
Enjoy the rest of the weekend

Stamp AnnieThing June Release Day#3 Trudy

Hi and welcome to Day #3 of
Stamp Anniething's June release!

I love animals and my furbabies.... so this release is homage to PETS!

Here is Trudy and her very tweet friend!

Trudy will be available in the store NOW along
with the other 2 stamps we showed you this week!!

*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*
Trudy looks so cute with her little birdie.
Here is my completed card.
I used Copic colors:
W5, W7, W9,
R20, R21, R22, R24,
E0000, E000, E01, E11, E40, E41 and E42
I used Copic Refills R20 and R30 to
color the smaller roses (from Wild Orchid Crafts)
that I purchased from The Not2 Shabby Shop
The paper is Prima Marketing: Lyric Collection
The dies are from Spellbinders
The banner from Spellbinders I just hand wrote
the message myself.

Here is a little bit of my process:
First I colored up Trudy but I outlined the leg
since I wanted it to be visible behind the cage.
Then, I fussy cut as I normally do
but I cut off the cage.
(My baby didn't like that I cut off the birdie. LOL)

Next, I only inked the bottom portion of the stamp
on to the Prima paper.
After that, I used a Spellbinders Oval die
and traced the outer part to make myself a bigger oval.
(Need to take care of that from my wish list....
buy bigger oval dies. LOL  )

Oh yea! I didn't throw the little bird from the original
stamped image. I colored up the bird so I could stick
it to the cage that was stamped on the Prima paper.
I didn't keep beak nor the legs since it will show with the
the stamped image at the bottom.

Finally I glued her and the birdie down and added flowers all around.

`~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~
Thank you for joining us for our June Release
 and have a great day!

 Here is my card.
I colored Sam and his doggy with Copic markers
but I paper piece Sam's clothes with paper from
Tiny Tatty Teddy: Me to You paper pack
The papers from the background are all from the
same paper pack as well except for the
brown Kraft Cardstock.
Kind of simple but it came in good time to make
a boy card since I was very low on them
to give out. LOL
Here is a close-up of the coloring and on the
paper piecing.

Thank you for visiting
and don't forget we have one more
day of previews then you can buy them all! :)

Have a great day.

Stamp AnnieThing June Release Day #1: Brittney

Hi and welcome to Day #1 of
Stamp Anniething's June release!

I love animals and my furbabies.... so this release is homage to PETS!

Remember Brittney? She's back with her feline companion!

Brittney will be available in the store Friday along with the other 2 stamps we show  you  this week!!
`~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~
Here is my CAS card using Brittney and her little kitty.
I love kittens and love coloring long hair
so this image was so much fun to color.
This image is so adorable by itself I didn't want to put too many details
but one thing I did add was a ball of yarn for the kitty cat.
I just made the ball of yarn myself and glued it with hot glue...
I wanted the kitty to look like it's playing with the yarn so I used
my X-acto knife to carefully cut the paws to make it look like
its grabbing on to the yarn but I used glossy accents and a fine
applicator tip to glue the rest of it down.

Here is a close-up.
Some of the Copic colors I used were:
B93, B91, R20, Y23, and Y21
BV31, E0000, E000, E01, E21, R20 and R30
 RV02. RV11 and R81
W7, W5, W3 and W0

I hope you like it and I hope you come back for
days 2 and 3. :)

********************************************
Hello!  I'm back with Day 6 of
May Them Week: Florals
I used Jessica - For You stamp set and colored her up with Copic markers.

Some colors I used
B93, B91, R30, Y23 and Y21
Y13, Y15, E33, C9, C7 and C5
BV31, E0000, E000, E01, E21, R20 and R30
This is a 6x6 card
I tried to embellish with as many roses I could
without going too crazy with it.
I also colored the white roses with Copic markers
E13 and Y15
to match her clothing, bow and roses in hand.
The design paper is from
Penny Black: Coco Style 6x6 pad
I used the colors from the papers as a contrast
to the colors I colored her with.

Here is a close-up of the coloring.
I've been experimenting (as usual) with certain colors
and intensity of which ones I want to stand out more.
I made this card for a technology teacher
at my kids' school that is leaving to pursue
a medical career. She is always very nice and always
happy to help... We will miss her.

I hope you liked the card.

Thank you for visiting.
Have a great day.

SAT May Release Day 3 Holly Dreams

Hi and welcome to Day #3 of
Stamp Anniething's May release!

This month is all about being a girl and hanging with the girls, its also about pampering yourself a bit too!

Meet our newest stamp,
Holly, Sweet Dreams

Holly is available in the store NOW along with the other 2 stamps we show  you  this week!!
`~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~

Here is the project I made!
I first colored my image with Copic markers on
100 lb Spectrum Noir Ultra Smooth Premium White Cardstock.
The hair is W9, W7 and W5
I experimented with the skin this time
I used E53, E11, E13, R21 and R30
I wanted to give her a light African American skin tone.

Next I stamped another Holly on
Inkadinkado Stamping Mask Paper -fussy cut it
and place on top of my colored Holly
Then pretty much rub on some mini distress ink pads at random
but I chose sort of bright colors and try to blend at the edges.
After that I blended some black distress ink on the edges
and very little in between the bright colors.
When I was satisfied with the night sky background
I removed the masking paper and colored up the edges
by coloring with W9 Copic marker
not too much clean up to do but there were
a few very white spots.
I then added the sentiment that comes with this stamp
which I die cut with one of
My Creative Time dies
and added finishing touch by adding stars
with a white Sakura Gellyroll.
That's pretty much it.
I kept this card simple like my previous cards
just adding some color to the background
with either a patterned paper or
adding distress ink.

Thanks for joining us for our May Release
 and have a great day!

Remember today is release day. Woot Woot!

Thank you for visiting,

SAT May Release Day 2 Lucille Relax & Enjoy

Hi and welcome to Day #2 of
Stamp Anniething's May release!

This month is all about being a girl and hanging with the girls, its also about pampering yourself a bit too!
Meet our newest stamp,
Lucille, Relax & Enjoy

Lucille will be available in the store Friday along with the other 2 stamps we show  you  this week!!
`~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~

Here is the project I made!
I loved coloring Lucille I think it's the
cute little curly hair or that it brings
me memories of going to a spa.

I colored her with Copic markers
E0000, E000, E21, R20, R30, BV01
The robe and the head towel were colored with
different grays and greens in dots.
The paper is from an old DCWV stack I believe
since I don't have the cover anymore but
long ago I used to only buy that brand. Ha!

I made my card Clean and Simple
which is a little bit hard for me and
I would have fancied up my card more but
I imagine some spas would have lovely flowers
or decor the spa I have been going to
for almost 7 years now... I don't recall seeing
flowery wall paper in the rooms but that's because
I usually go in to get muddy. LOL

We start with super hot Mud bath which
is so relaxing on the body and nice the skin but you have to keep
drinking some cool lemon and cucumber infused
water to keep cool... While on the mud the attendant usually
paints on some green clay mask on our faces
then you shower off that mud
and get into a jacuzzi with natural hot springs water...
from there we either get a full body massage
or just get a blanket wrap to some soothing music.
I would rather not skip the full body massage though- that is the best.
Aaaaaah so relaxing... I so want to go now
especially since I've been dealing with this
Sinus Infection or I don't know what it is...
Actually for a moment there while visualizing being a
Golden Haven I didn't feel like my head and face
was going to explode...
Need to go back there very soon. LOL
Maybe one day I will do the over night thing
but for some weird reason I start missing my kids
who on a normal basis drive me nuts. LOL   jk
Anyway, if you are in the Calistoga, Napa Valley area
I so recommend this place to enjoy and relax.
Thanks for joining us for our May Release
 and have a great day!

Thank you for visiting

SAT May Release Paige Girls Night

Hi and welcome to Day #1 of
Stamp Anniething's May release!

This month is all about being a girl and hanging with the girls, its also about pampering yourself a bit too!
Meet our newest stamp,
Paige, Girls Night

Paige will be available in the store Friday along with the other 2 stamps we show  you  this week!!
`~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~
Here is the project I made!

I colored Paige - Girls Night
as The Princess and the Pea
Just hand drew some funny looking mattresses
and hid a pea on the bottom right. :P
I've seen several short YouTube videos
but I couldn't find one I saw as a child
(I don't remember who made it) but that
one was my favorite and my second favorite
is the one from HBO's Happily Ever After series.
Can you believe that I didn't fussy cut at all?
The background edges I used my mini distress ink
called Victorian Velvet
The sentiment is from Giselle - For a little princess
and honestly I don't remember where my crown stamp is from
but I used embossing powder.  As soon as
I figure it out I will update my blog.
Make sure you take a look at the other
DT ladies that made cards with Paige - Girls Night

Thanks for joining us for our May Release.
Have a great day!

Thank you for visiting.

Happy Weekend! Here again with a little techie card.
I colored up Brooke Panda and Kelly - Happy
with Copic markers and made a little fake iMessage chat.
Imagine Arya Stark and Sansa Stark as Chibi teenagers...
or College girls living in our day... LOL
They would most likely be on their iPhones calling
or texting each other. They just watched the first
episode of Game of Thrones: Season 6
and here is how the text chat goes.... :P
Arya: OMG OMG OMG!!! Did you watch GoT?
Sansa: Calm down! Of Course I did!
Arya: [meme I can't keep calm
I just watched Game of Thrones]
Sansa: [emoji of Sansa]
Arya: [emoji of Arya with Needle]

Here is Brooke Panda (as Sansa)
Here is Kelly - Happy (as Arya)

I created this little fake iMessage
from a website I found online...
the iPhone was a sketch from
online and I just joined the images together
the little emojis came from
JujuSprinkles
I had to massively reduce the size
of the image so it can fit in the card
so it's not as sharp :(
I colored the edges to make it
a gold iPhone (like mine) LOL
The paper is from Doodlebug
and the tiny iPhone dies are from
My Favorite Things

I hope you liked the card
and can join in on the challenges on the
facebook page.

Thank you for stopping by.
Have a great day.

Diana Here's the Scoop

Happy Weekend!

Hi again, here with a little bright and happy card. :)

I used Diana - Here's the Scoop stamp set and Doodlebug papers from Hello Sunshine.

She's colored up with Copic makers
Skin: BV31 (you can substitute with any light BV color)
E0000, E000, E01, E21, R30, R20, R21
Hair Y28, Y26, Y23 and Y21
The ice cream scoops are colored with E23, R20 and E000
For the eye-lights I have difficulty using the brush that it comes
with the Copic Opaque White jar so I dab some on a scratch piece of paper and dip a dried
up Sakura Gelly roll on the Copic Opaque White paint
and draw in some circle dots.
Main image and sentiment are from the Diana - Here's the Scoop set
The dies are from My Creative Time

The clothing is paper pieced using the same Doodlebug papers from Hello Sunshine.

Here is a close up of the image I colored.

Here is is my inspiration... My 3 year old Daenerys.
She was too happy. LOL
I used the color pallet from her pajamas.
I will have to color an
African American version another time. ;)
here is the card sketch I used:
