When I saw this hibiscus, I thought about Hawaaii and it's lush green landscapes
with many colorful flowers and yummy fruit.
I have this stencil from Taylored Expressions that I wanted to use.
First I masked the hibiscus with a printer paper mask I made. Then,
I used Mown Lawn Distress Ink all around it but tried not to be
too heavy. When I had enough coverage I place the stencil over the
card layer and used the same Mown Lawn Distress Ink. I wanted to have
leaves in the background but I wanted them to be subtle.
I used a rectangle die from My Creative time and sort of gaged
where I wanted to place the sentiment and chose one from The Greeting Farm's
Bloom rubber stamp kit. I used Gold tinsel embossing powder from Martha Stewart.
Here you can see the tinsel embossing a lot better.
